We've had a brilliant experience with Kip McGrath over the past two years. Every member of staff is welcoming, professional, and genuinely supportive.

Our daughter has been attending sessions during her final two years of secondary school, and the difference we've seen in her is remarkable. She's grown so much in confidence and her academic progress has gone beyond what we expected.

The tutors are patient, friendly and are extremely dedicated. Homework is tailored to the right level, feedback is excellent and my child has made significant progress both academically in maths but also in terms of confidence and learning essential study skills.

Have been with KIP Halifax for a number of years and can't rate them high enough. The tutors are interested and want the best for each and every child. The tutoring at KIP Halifax is the only reason my children have done so well in their GCSE's. The centre is managed by someone who is dedicated to make sure your child has the best learning experience. The number one in personal tuition.

Amazing tutoring service, my sons confidence has grown so much since attending lessons. Thank you to Olivia at the Halifax centre we are so pleased with the progress and will definitely continue with Kip!

I’m really disappointed in KM.
I was sold the idea that tuition would be 1:1, but in fact can be up to 1:6. The centre promised it could accommodate my child’s extra needs of dyslexia and autism. After 5 sessions, the centre cancelled our sessions and informed me they cannot accommodate my child in the current sessions, without discussing an alternative arrangement.
Why advertise that you support children with extra needs, when you simply cannot? The teachers want independent children, baring in mind my child is only 7! Shocking.
Parents of SEN children. Don’t bother!

I went to Kip in the run up to my GCSE's, I knew I needed extra help and wouldn't have gone into my maths exam with confidence without the help of Clare and the rest of the team. Kip is a brilliant company right on my door step who have helped myself and one of my friends reach our goals. The lessons were catered specifically to what I needed help with the most and help was always available without even needing to ask!

I can't recommend enough and I wouldn't be where I am today with the help and support of Kip.

Kip McGrath really helped me in the run up to GCSE’S with my maths. I achieved a grade 5, when I started my goal was to just pass the exam. Jay was an amazing tutor who created a fun learning environment. I really recommend.

Im very dissapoited by this company. First of all ,it is NOT one :one tuition, my child is truggling with attention and need to have communication non stop, so we was looking one on one, instead we have our child was left lots of of time to work out himself, when need help ,he have to " rase " hand and wait.Majority of the time he was bored, frustrated ,angry and told" not to worry ,we help you in the future,just do another question" .
When we point out our concerns , they said, that is how they work and following curriculum and they do not personilise for a child proggram. I would not gave one star. Manager told us ,that we would not get one on one tution, we explained ,that it is exist and we want best and personal for our child , the response was from manager ,that we are aggresive .We stopped our conversation immediately, i would not recommed this style of tuition to anybody.Your child already work at school in the group , he do not need another group.

The tutors attention is not fully with your child's. Our experience is with the Southend West centre with online tuition. Tutors will eat, use their phones, people coming in and our of the room talking to the tutors. They teach several kids at the same time so your child sits there and waits for the tutor to finish tending to the other students before continuing with their lesson. It's a joke service.

My daughter needed a little extra help in her maths in prep for the 11+ this year, so she had a few weeks at Kip. She really enjoyed the sessions and the tutors were very friendly, providing feedback every session. They also gave her extra to do at home too. She passed the 11+ exam and was very happy! I would highly recommend the sessions at Kip! Thank you!

First off, I would sincerely like to express my thankfulness towards you for your help that you have supported to my daughter to learn Maths by providing her extra classes and making her understand. She has passed her both GCSE'S Maths both grades B. A huge thank 😊

All negative reviews about Kip McGrath are true.
There is no individual approach to your child and 1:1 classes. There are usually 3-4 children in the group, the students work on the worksheets and only when the child does not understand something is it explained to him. My child's teacher was often working on a laptop or checking something on his phone during the lesson.
I wholeheartedly warn you and recommend that you find a tutor who is perhaps a bit more expensive, but honest.

i just completed my last session for kipmcgrath.i have been having my tutor sessions for over a year for maths and wow have they helped me.but i would like to really thank my teacher Naz maroof.He helped me complete challenges i thought i wouldn't be able to do and explained all the questions i used to struggle with. Over all. I rate kipmcgrath a 10/10.Thank you!

I decided to use Kip Mcgrath for my Grandson whose Maths mock result was a little disappointing. He required a grade 6 to take his chosen A level. He started a course in mid March which was one evening per week specifically for Higher Maths. Within a couple of weeks he was showing a marked improved confidence and understanding of the subject matter. His first two exam papers he reported he had found them reasonably easier and he had managed to answer almost 100% of the questions. His last paper was a little more difficult but he was still able to answer 80% and attempted the remaining 20%. I am sure that, would not had been the case if I hadn't decided to choose the Kip Mcgrath programme. The tutors are very dedicated to the children and are completely invested in improving their understanding and knowledge. I believe this was the best gift I could have given my grandson and would 100% recommend Kip Mcgrath to any parent/grandparent looking to aid their children.

Thank you so much for the invaluable help & support over the last 8 months. You have significantly boosted my son’s confidence to tackle questions and he’s found an enjoyment with English that I didn’t think I’d see again. You have made him feel at ease, made it fun along the way and I would recommend the Leigh branch to anyone. Kath & Graham have been excellent with my son and cannot thank you enough.

Terrible not worth the money and would not give a refund because the cancel email was sent 2 days late. They kept my deposit and the whole months money.
