When phoning about various items - explained well with no effort

We have just replaced all our kitchen cupboard doors. Wren told us we wouldn’t be able to do for less than £9k how wrong were they! We had 24 doors (lots were bespoke) including kick boards and hinge holes drilled all for £1386 which I think is a great price. The doors are high quality. Hannah was excellent at helping us triple check all measurements, adjusting the order for us and also delaying shipment as we placed the order whilst we was on holiday. Nothing felt like too much of an ask. I highly recommend the company to friends and family.

Received my kitchen doors, drawer fronts and plinths today. Really pleased with the quality and the service. Delivery was exactly as estimated and everything was packaged and labelled really well. I ordered the shaker style Richmond doors and they are beautiful. I looked at a lot of similar online companies before placing my order and so glad I went with Kitchen Door Outlet. Would highly recommend.

I wanted to replace a mid-size pan drawer from an IKEA kitchen (older model). The shaker sample i received was the perfect design but the colour (matt white) not quite the right shade. I went ahead to order the pan-drawer door I needed with a satin white instead to be closer to what I needed.
2 problems:
-the satin white is a very different finish - not just a different shade. It is a textured vinyl covering that doesn't feel smooth but grainy. I feel this wasn't explained. I have been told by the customer service that I should have ordered a second sample but I had wanted to save costs for the company as the original sample was a full size door (random size).

-the door doesn't have the shaker design as it turns out that Kitchen Door Outlet cannot make the dimension of these IKEA shaker drawers as a Shaker design. The drawer I received is plain as per the narrower cutlery drawers, which is totally wrong to replace my deeper drawer. I have been pointed out to where the minimum height is specified at the bottom of the very long and detailed specification page, which I clearly overlooked.

I would like to say that when ordering matt vs satin, I maintain that it is fair to expect a difference in shade and look but not in texture as is the case.

I also would like to point out that when ordering shaker, I would expect to receive a message saying a shaker style is not possible rather than be sent something plain which is not Shaker-style at all. It should be easy to foresee that I will not be happy as I won't receive Shaker and would be better off cancelling the order. This would be good customer service, rather than maintaining that I should expect satin to be a different texture to matt (not just different shade), and that I should have read the small print at the bottom of the specification page and therefore expect to receive a not-Shaker door even though that is what I ordered.

The postage for this (useless to me) drawer door was £30 - a bit steep. the delivery was also not on the day I was told it would be and I had to wait all day 8am-6pm twice, the first day of which for nothing.

I have used this company twice this year , replaced top doors in kitchen and then replaced bottom doors last month .
Packed really well when they arrived and were the correct colour and size .
Seem good quality but only time will tell .

I ordered 2 different colours of cupboard doors,rather than just make them i was contacted first to make sure i had,nt made a mistake.
When i confirmed the order was correct they were made and one set of doors were drlivered on my chosen delivery date, and the other colour doors drlivered the next day.
The doors are excellant and look great now they are installed.
Would highly recommend kitchen door outlet.

I need to leave three reviews for KDO. One for my experience in ordering, one for the products and one for the delivery and after sales service.

My initial experience was excellent. The sales agent who helped me was great, really knew her stuff and followed up with me in a timely manner. Nothing but good things to say.

The products are excellent. Great quality doors and the wrap is excellent. Such a good product. I was very impressed.

But… that is where my praise ends and the problems begin. I paid £10 to book a specific delivery date… 3 months in the future. On the day of delivery the products never turned up. I phoned KDO and was told there had been a manufacturing problem and the doors would be two days late. Why no one felt I should have been informed is beyond me.

I had two people onsite who I had to pay and the delay cost me £500. KDO couldn’t have cared less and still haven’t even refunded by £10 for delivery, let alone offered to compensate me for the labour bill I had to pay.

At this point I will not use KDO again. There products may be good (it should be noted they don’t make them. They are a ‘middle man’), but there are other suppliers who I can rely on more to deliver on time or at the very least let me know there will be a delay!

I am £500 out of pocket without even a courtesy apology.

I would strongly recommend not using them.

I've never ordered kitchen doors before but I was pleasantly surprised when I received them they are beautiful exactly as I envisioned them.And I love the colour .it was the best decision I made when I used your company

Very good product, very impressed. Packing for delivery was also very good and quick delivery once I was informed the goods were on the way
