I arranged a free initial consultation with JK Smith Solicitors and provided detailed information in advance, including forms and supporting details requested by the firm. Unfortunately, I was only informed the day before my appointment that they were unable to deal with my type of issue.

While I understand not every firm can handle every matter, I feel this could have been identified much earlier in the process. The delay caused unnecessary stress at an already difficult time, and highlights the need for clearer communication and better initial screening.
