The tour was very well organized, hotels and food were great, and knitting sessions wonderfull. I would have liked a visit to a yarn shop, not only with wool yarn. And I thought the visit to the museum in Dublin was not worth it.

Well organised tour to the Shetland Islands. The tour guide was very knowledgable about where we travelled and some of the history of Shetland. The bus driver was courteous and helpful at all times and willing to go out of his way, as time allowed, to give us the opportunity to see other things. The workshops were run by very talented women who shared their skill and knowledge in a way we could all benefit. The other tourist places were visited were in keeping with the theme of fibre and were interesting even for non knitters. I have come home with wonderful memories and new skills.

I came for the knitting workshops, and left in awe of the many creative designers Shetland has produced. The visits to the designers were inspiring.

Everything was planned to perfection. The accommodations and meals were very good. The people in Shetland were warm, friendly and helpful. The tour manager and bus driver were wonderful. The farewell dinner I will remember for the rest of my life.

When I missed a connection, Irish Tourism was very helpful in getting us connected with the tour. All in all it was a first class experience.

The trip was wonderful! The tour guide and driver handled everything from picking up our bags from our rooms to meals and hotel stays. I went by myself for my first ever international trip and they picked me up at the airport, took care of everything for the whole trip, and took me back to the airport when it was over. Everything about the tour was top notch. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The hotels were great as was the food and atmosphere. Our bus driver “Peadar” was so competent, knowledgeable and fun…he greatly added to the experience!

The tour included so many fiber related activities: lace knitting and Fair Isle workshops, museums, archeological sites. Our meals were delicious and our accommodations were comfortable and in great locations.

The Scotland & Highlands Knitting Tour was wonderful in every way. Each day was filled with different and interesting experiences, from workshops with experienced teachers to museums and local pub lunches. The meals were excellent and accomodated every dietary need. I loved the hotels and found them top-notch. I was so happy with my trip that I am considering booking another. I can't wait to go again!

Our bus driver and our tour guide were wonderful.

This was a first-class trip from the first time I contacted them until my flight back home! It was all I imagined it would be. Not only did I enjoy visiting Ireland but I learned some new Aran knit techniques and made some new knitting friends. It has inspired me to be more adventurous with my knitting. I will look forward to a future trip.

Our trip was well-planned and executed, crossing the nation. The combination of meeting with knitting designers, trips to see a variety of site ranging from museums to farms kept the entertainment level of the trip at a real high.
