I don’t like leaving reviews before…

I don’t like leaving reviews before I’ve had the chance to experience the entire process, but I believe that in this case, it’s fair and necessary.

On September 25th, I signed up with Kongo Care and requested NAD+. The main reason I decided to give them a try was the price they were offering, which I found very attractive\.

However, as of today, September 29th, my request still hasn’t even been reviewed !This makes Kongo Care the slowest telehealth provider I’ve personally experienced when it comes to reviewing a medication request and I’ve used several different providers.

It also makes me wonder: if it takes five days just to review the medication request, how long will it take to actually ship the medication? Thankfully, this is NAD+ and not something more time-sensitive, such as a GLP-1 medication.

This market naturally invites comparisons. In fact, today I requested another peptide from a different provider, and within 30 minutes it had already been approved, and I received confirmation that the prescription had been sent to the pharmacy.

So, based on my experience up to this point, I can’t give Kongo Care more than 2 stars.

Once the process is finally completed whenever that happens I’ll post another review or update this one to reflect the full experience.

You're right that five days to even review an NAD+ request isn't good enough, and I don't blame you for comparing that to a provider who had you approved in 30 minutes. That gap is on us, not a reflection of anything you did, and it's a fair thing to flag publicly.

We're working on tightening up our review times so this isn't the experience anyone has going forward. We'd genuinely love to hear how the rest of your experience goes. Your follow-up review, whatever it says, will mean just as much to us as this one did.

GLP-1 Compound Order Experience

I intentionally waited about a month before writing this review because I wanted to have enough time to actually use the product and evaluate my experience. So far, I’ve been very satisfied with both the results and the entire process with Kongo.

The ordering experience was incredibly easy. The interface was straightforward, simple to navigate, and made the entire process feel seamless from beginning to end. I was also really impressed with the turnaround time, we received the product only five days after placing the order.

Customer support has been another big positive. I had a question during the process, and the support team responded extremely quickly and was helpful and professional.

I was also impressed with the quality and professionalism of the pharmacy fulfilling the prescription. The product arrived properly packaged, everything was clearly presented, and the overall experience gave me confidence in the quality of what I was receiving.

After giving it a full month before reviewing, I can say that my experience has been excellent so far. The combination of an easy ordering process, fast delivery, responsive customer service, a professional pharmacy, and results I’ve been very satisfied with has made this a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend Kongo based on my experience so far.

It was awesome talking to an actual person and not a robot! My questions were thoroughly answered. They talked me all the way through the process with the pharmacy. So rare to experience fantastic customer service.

The fact that the price increased…

The fact that the price increased without any notification was just mind blowing. It almost doubled in price without any notice. That to me is so unprofessional at its finest. Also the shipping the difference in the pharmacy that it’s shipping from is unsettling as well. We are almost at thee end of July and nothing has shipped. Not sure if I need to find other options.

Regarding the pricing change we did send out emails notifying our customers ahead of time but I am truly sorry if that did not reach you. You are absolutely right that receiving a price increase without any notice is unacceptable and I completely understand your frustration.

I want to give you a little clarity on what changed. Previously our pricing included a monthly membership fee on top of medication costs that would increase with each dose. So customers could go from $79 to $109 to $139 month over month as their dose went up. We removed the membership fee entirely and locked everything into one simple flat rate that never increases regardless of dosage. The goal was to actually bring more transparency and predictability to our pricing going forward.

Regarding your order still not shipping by the end of July that is also completely unacceptable and I am sorry.

Please reach out to us directly at support@kongo.care and I will personally make sure you are taken care of right away. I also want to include a discount on your next order as an apology for everything you have been through. You deserve better than this experience and I am committed to making it right.

We are working every day to be better and I hope you will give us the chance to show you that.

Sent my order to an invalid pharmacy

Sent my order to an invalid pharmacy. I had to message customer support a hundred times to get them to send it to a good pharmacy and then finally send it to me. It took 2 weeks. Kept saying there were bugs and whatever. Not a satisfying experience

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Constantly delayed medication. Promises that my order had shipped when I hadn't. Zero communication between the clinical and customer support sides, even when they said they would communicate. Fulfilled my prescription from a pharmacy cited by the FDA for unsanitary and ineffective compounding of GLP-1 drugs (which my prescription was for). I would never use this service again and would recommend you stay as far away as possible.

Everything you described is accurate and I am truly sorry. The delays, the miscommunication between our teams, and the pharmacy situation were all unacceptable failures on our part and I take full responsibility for that.

Since coming on board I have made the following changes to make sure this does not happen to another customer. We have overhauled our customer support structure with dedicated response protocols so no ticket goes unanswered. We have improved the communication pipeline between our clinical and customer support teams. We are conducting a thorough review of our pharmacy partners and have already begun rerouting orders away from pharmacies that do not meet our standards. We have also rebuilt our order tracking and fulfillment process so customers always have accurate real time information.

I know these words mean very little given your experience and I completely understand that you would not return. But I want you to know that your review is not falling on deaf ears. It is directly informing how we build this company better.

I am sorry we failed you. We will do better.

Customer care is clearly their priority.

They treated me with the upmost respect and urgency to help me fix my order. Even though it was my mistake they took the blame and helped fix the error. I’d give 10 stars if I could, I definitely recommend as the price is unmatched and the customer service is phenomenal!

Charged for my refill, no shipment or tracking, poor communication

I’ve been using Kongo Care for compounded semaglutide, but this month’s refill has been a mess. My monthly price increased from $79 to $119, and I was charged $119 on 6/12/2026. As of 6/26/2026 I still have no ship date and no tracking.
Support acknowledged the delay and said there was a ‘bug with their pharmacy (Greenwich)’ and that they were migrating my order to a different pharmacy, but I still haven’t received a concrete timeline. I’ve had to message multiple times just to get basic updates, and responses are slow or missing.
Because of the delay, I’ve missed scheduled doses. I can’t recommend this service based on the lack of reliability and communication

The pharmacy bug that affected your order combined with our slow communication was unacceptable, especially when it caused you to miss scheduled doses. We have since overhauled our pharmacy routing process and raised our communication standards so no patient is left without answers.

I am truly sorry we let you down. You deserved better and we are working every day to make sure this does not happen again.

I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could. The company starts out with a promise of $138 TIRZEPATIDE. And then after being on it for a while, they were missing sending my prescriptions on time. No communication is possible. They don’t respond to emails and they don’t return phone calls. I’ve been round and round and round for a month just trying to get a receipt so that I could get reimbursed from my flexible spending account. A month of non-returned phone calls or emails!

And they raised the price from $138 a month to $229 a month with no notification. They said they sent it to me but I didn’t get it. And when I finally got a representative today, he actually offered me $100 off because of the trouble I’ve had… And when the charge showed up on my credit card text message is when I noticed they had raised the price. They didn’t even tell me! The text showed the charge for $129. I was expecting $38 after the hundred dollar credit.

Don’t go with them!! Again… Their patient portal is not user-friendly. You can’t get messages in a timely fashion. I send emails that aren’t responded to for a month at a time. I called and left voicemails and I never got callbacks. I finally got someone today and that’s when I found out. They raised $90 a month. So f them. I’m out.

Everything you described is accurate and I am deeply sorry. The lack of communication, unreturned calls, delayed emails, and the pricing change without proper notification are all failures on our part and I own every single one of them.

Regarding the pricing I want to be fully transparent. Under our old structure Tirzepatide started at $138 per month but because the dosing increases for Tirzepatide are more significant than other treatments, the price would increase by $30 or more with each dose increase. So a customer could go from $138 to $168, then $198, then $229 month over month as their dose went up. This was causing serious confusion and frustration for our customers. We made the decision to remove that structure entirely and lock in one flat rate of $229 per month regardless of dosage so customers never see another unexpected price increase again. I understand that transition was handled poorly and you absolutely should have been notified well in advance. That is on us completely.

On the communication side we were severely understaffed during that period. Since then we have rebuilt our customer support structure, established clear response time standards, and are actively hiring dedicated support staff to make sure no email or voicemail goes unanswered.

I understand you are done with us and I respect that completely. You gave us more chances than we deserved and I am truly sorry we failed you.
