Koorsen Fire & Security Avis 

5-year(!) contract was not disclosed at time of sale. Sensor fault prevented arming while I was out of town for an extended period - called for service, never replied, leaving home unprotected. Koorsen basically sold my account to some other out-of-state company with no local reps. Now I'm stuck with a dead system for 3-1/2 years. They may be OK for commercial accounts, but homeowners should stay far away.

The workers were standing around most of the time and broke part of our system

Planning and installation personnel very capable and helpful. Excellent interface with tenants in affected building. Great job.

Koorsen staff was very responsive and quickly did what we needed to have done. They explained everything thoroughly. We are pleased with the work.

Good Service and they are almost always flexible with scheduling even on short notice.

Our service person Dan is outstanding and our account rep Kim Trammel is wonderful to work with. Could not be more satisfied with the service they provide.

I usually have to call to schedule back flow on sprinkler system otherwise I would give 5 stars

Seems Koorsen bought Northern Fire .All of a sudden the same service I get every year just went up over 400% .I am with Kelvin Sun from Mt Pleasant Mi.What's going on.Will be contacting everyone in the State of Mi who will listen about this deceiving increase,and I mean everyone! Outraged.

Koesen Fire toke over my local company(Mount Pleasant, Michigan)
got my 1st bill today, it is jump 400%.( from $150 to $540)

Still waiting for 2 smoke detectors to be recalibrated because their activation threshold is too high?

Almost impossible to get a hold of someone from this company. Rumor has it they do great work, though i wouldn't know. Went with Habitec instead, they have been amazing.

Pro: Good & Courteous service by technician. Con: No paperwork was left by technician indicating the services performed or outcome of the inspections. We also have no idea what the cost of the service was.

The tech's are very good but the office not so much

IT SEEMS SO UN ORGANIZED DOES YOUR MAIN OFFICE EVERY COMMUNICTE WITH YOUR LOCAL OFFICE IT DOSENT SEEM LIKE IT NORTHEN WAS SO MUCH MORE ORGINZED NOT BEEN HAPPY REAL CLOSE TO SWITCHING.

Very friendly and helpful. He let us know that we can get replacement fire extinguishers from Kidda due to a recall. We did purchase new and are going to be calling Kidda regarding our other ones.
