Dr. Tapin’s calmness in explaining the entire process clearly. Giving me time to make a well informed decision. The staff around him were all equally caring and reassuring. I felt very prepared to go ahead with no sedatives, and was so surprised when 20 minutes later he announced it was OVER! A week later I walked in ready for my other eye! It is ten days since I had both surgeries. Just finished my last check up, all clear, and am writing this review in the car with NO GLASSES whilst my husband is driving! Thanks to MR. Tapin his staff and TECHNOLOGY!!

I am absolutely thrilled with my eyes now, thanks to the expertise of Mike Tappin, and his assistant Gheta, who was great in testing my near and distance etc so Mike would know exactly what prescription I needed, and tweak the lens replacement to get the optimum results possible for me. I had both eyes done with lens replacement because I was absolutely fed up with glasses and contacts! Constantly changing the glasses depending on what I was doing, and sore eyes every afternoon from wearing contacts too. It’s pain free, and so quick. You just use drops in your eyes 4 times a day after the surgery and that’s it. I had to have laser on my left eye, as the sight wasn’t as good as it could be, so Mike tweaked it, and it’s now pretty much 20/20 in both eyes 🙏
It’s completely changed my quality of life!! I could not recommend it enough.
I am a beauty Therapist and 59, so eyes are imperative for my work.

Highly competent, professional staff with a strong customer focus and an understanding that they are treating a patient rather than just a medical condition. Mr Tappin presents treatment options in a clear manner and takes account of the patient's lifestyle preferences. There is no hard-sell for treatment, which contrasts with some other providers and it is clear that the staff have the patient's best interests at heart.

I have keratoconus and needed my cataracts removed and I researched and found Laser Vision through Top Doctors. The service was excellent. The whole procedure was clearly explained and I felt fully supported throughout. The atmosphere is very relaxed and calm particularly during surgery. Rakesh and all his staff are excellent. 2 weeks after my second eye was operated on I have excellent vision even before I get my new contact lenses. After two bad experiences with two other laser eye companies I decided to try again and I was not disappointed with Laser Vision in Manchester. The communication from the first email contact was clear and informative. I was offered a consultation and when I went I was impressed with the modern location inside Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. After all the eye tests during the consultation I was told I was suitable for laser eye surgery and I decided to go for LASIK. Mr Brahma is a very professional surgeon who has a lot of experience. His team around him made the experience even better and they answered all my questions with no hesitation. The staff at reception were very welcoming and made sure my needs were met. The surgery was over quickly and throughout Mr Brahma made me feel comfortable as possible as well as doing a great job. The aftercare was very good too.

The time had come, cataracts were needing attention. There was only one person I could possibly trust to perform the procedures. Mr. M. Tappin had been treating John for over thirty years, I had always been in attendance with his appointments and in all this time I had found Mr. Tappin, to be approachable and knowledgeable in matters concerning eyes. I asked would he treat my eyes. Emma, his lovely secretary contacted me with dates, followed up with all the necessary paperwork / e/mails, I knew from her persona I was in very capable hands. I was subsequently booked into The Nuffield Health, Shores Road, Woking, on my arrival reception and staff were friendly and positive, I was taken to my room. The necessary booking procedure was dealt with, BP, questions on my health etc. a visit from Mr. Tappin, where he went through the surgery in great detail, drew a mark over my eye, asking had I any questions. He had been very explicit, I had none. The team in the theatre, again were amazing and reassuring. I felt relaxed, and as he began the procedure, again Mr. Tappin explained in detail what he was doing at every stage. He visited my room afterwards and expressed what I may and may not expect. This happened fifteen days later when I had the right eye operated on. Two follow up appointments had been initiated, everything had gone well. I would like to thank everyone I had contact with, most of all Mr. Tappin, who at every stage of my treatments, was professional, approachable and charming.

The experience from start to end was excellent. From the first consultation with Mr Tappin through to the arranging an urgent check up on a bank holiday (all included) after an accident.
The care, quality of the facilities. equipment and outcome all exceeded my expectations.
I would recommend LaserVision to any that are considering having surgery. The only downside is the need to travel to Portsmouth for the surgery while consultations are local in Guildford/Woking.
