Before I retired, I spent many years working in IT, and I eventually found myself wanting to replace the ageing gaming PC that I had built.

At the age of 73, I had no desire to undertake the task of building another PC to my own specification, so I looked for someone local who was competent enough to be entrusted with such a project, especially as I was planning to spend well in excess of £3,000 on what I consider to be my last PC.

To my delight, I found Jordan of LaunchLayer.uk, who seemed extremely knowledgeable in all matters IT-related. After meeting and chatting with him, I decided to entrust him with the work.

Jordan kept me informed of the progress throughout the build and also made several valuable suggestions about where I could save a little money and where it would be worthwhile spending a little more. His advice was excellent throughout.

I now have my new PC, and I am more than pleased with it. It exceeds my performance requirements by a considerable margin, which should ensure that it remains future-proof for many years to come.

I used LaunchLayer for a laptop repair in Wickford after my old machine became painfulllllllly slow. They recommended an SSD upgrade and the difference is incredible.
