I have paid out thousand of pounds only to be constantly called by other departments , yet never get call backs or updates on my claim for over payment and miss sold mortgage, first it was Matt Perryman then someone else ( cant remember his name ) the nick and Sophia - filling in forms myself, send them everything they need but for what still waiting!!!!!! and i really didn't have the thousands to s[pend in the first place... feel totally coned..

DO NOT USE LAWCOST LEGAL, if we had read the reviews earlier then we wouldn't of taken our money. Matt Perryman and his team all liars. This has been going on for a very long time, we sent all the letters off and where told by Matt leave it with me, everything will be sorted. We also had the MD call us of a weekend to say sorry to hear this has been going on so long, if you give us some money I will get this sorted for you. Yeah right another load of lies. Then we get forms to sign duly, as if you don't sign these then you can't progress any further, oh yes did I forget to say, we want your money, don't worry it will be all sorted. We even spoke to someone by Sophia, who promised the world, yeah it would all be sorted by Christmas 24, after nearly 3 years of too and frowing, Jan 2025 oh yeah one more payment and you could get your mortgage paid, Ring back to discover that Sophia has changed departments. Speak to the manager oh yeah nothing to do with us, ring back again and he is off ill, speak to some by the name of Jo, I asked for our money back, he said I have to talk to the financial side and the bosses and once they have listened to the phone conversations to see if we have been missed sold then they will consider it. Well I hope they are all happy with themselves scamming descent hardworking people who want a break, only to be scammed out of their money. The amount was substantial over the number of years we have been dealing with them. The best laugh is when you say they are scammers, they go oh no we are not. WELL YOU ARE and if any one from LAWCOST LEGAL is reading this, then I think you owe, us and the other people you have scammed an explanation and compensation for the stress. One final word. LAW COST LEGAL ARE A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS, DON'T GO ANY WHERE NEAR THEM.

Shocking experience. After being hounded for months by their aggressive sales team I finally gave them a go only for them to take my money, stop talking to me and if I ever did manage to get hold of them they were rude and dismissive, like it was my fault they were bad at their jobs.

Do not deal with this company! All they do is take your money and then have no communication with you at all. Definitely not accompany I would recommend. I would give zero stars if I could.

Now impossible to contact despite them having taken lots of my money. No telephone numbers work please save your money and stay clear of this company and any others that may be set up in the future by the people involved.

I’m deeply disappointed that I’m get phone calls month after month demanding payment of £200 which I paid £100 total of £300 when I refused to pay any more I and I asked the firm to close my mortgage miss sold claim the firm is calling time after time asking for payment I told them I haven’t legally signed any documents for the process to be carried out I have received no documentation vi post or e mail they saying we e mail you I have not received any e mail where they sending the docoments ever heard of posting information to addresses given I’m not paying them a penny the firm is constantly trying and forcing payments where I have mentioned time after time I have not legally signed any documents for the work carried out any law firm required approval signed documents from the person wishing to carry out all legal work but I have not received any information not even a welcome letter I don’t no what e mail they sent all the information out but I will not be bullied into making any payments a smart solicitor had said to me last time they are some bad law firms where they pin you against the wall demanding the cost law cost legal is one of that law firm how about I give my one finger and get lost attitude

This firm is full of bullshit they've had nearly £4000.00 off a friend of mine and are still trying to get more. It's a total scam and they are not regulated at all so are free to tell lie after lie. Be warned Stay well away.

Please stay well away from these people.. they sold me a solution to a non existent problem which I knew nothing about. They are very good at making people believe that they are a legitimate business and a reputable company with a high rate of success.
Once I paid the 1st payment of 4 they said they’d send me all the relevant documents and go through them with me to make sure that they were completed correctly, check them physically before I sent them off to the relevant mortgage companies.
I had to wait over 1 month before I received them and that was after trading them for a month. Once they were sent to me, they were just a bunch of generic documents that I had to put my name and details on then send it to the mortgage company. Trying to contact them was a very difficult process as you could not leave any messages when choosing the options on the phone. The vast majority of time I was called of mobile phones and not landlines which made me very uncomfortable that a company would be calling me from. I tried to email but it always bounced back.

The only times they called me was for the payments.
I complained about this and said I’d pay only if they went through the paperwork with me. They’d re scheduled calls but it never happened.

This company has not fulfilled their promises to deliver the service that they sold me and I do now wish that I had researched the company and the directors prior to paying them.

I have made 3 payments to this company but they say that have only made 2. I have all of the information regarding the payments so nit they are instructing debt collectors to recover the outstanding debt.

Please stay away from this company. They sell you a dream but it will become a Nitemare for you

I have been paying lawcost legal over the last several months, they keep asking for money ! No results so no more money !!
They rang today and asked for nearly 2k I said no I tell you what I’ll do win me back 50 k and I will give you 10k they declined! What would you prefer 2k or 10k ?? That says it all

Just had a call from low cost legal payed £116 in 2021 we cancelled it because it was a scam had a call today 31/10/24 demanding 600 quid else they were going to instruct a dept collection agency if not payed or the lease was £500 today no correspondace since 2021 just rang out of the blue threatened with bailiffs aswell

Generally starts with Kellie. Who passes you to Anthony or Joe or Nick. When they start quoting Letter Templates (ie L1495) they really mean the numbers that follow are the cost £1495 that they want to then email you the letter template. You then do all the paperwork yourself. They sit back with £££ in pocket. Nothing is guaranteed except they will call out of the blue month end asking for another lot of money for another claim that could be made. Stick to money saving expert advice and ombudsman. If they say they can get you £70k on false mortgage sales it’s a pipe dream. Ignore this companies cold calling antics praying on the vulnerable. Check out companies house and it’s the same people from the previous failed ltd companies. They set up and shut down a few year later. Scam

I used this company a few years back and for £550 I got some poorly spelt template letters .I was asked to stump up £2k to go for a forensic mortgage assessment .
They denied saying that they would reclaim money for me ( you do it yourself) and blamed an old employee. I complained a lot , they got a bit aggressive and I gave up
Since then I regularly get phone calls every 4months where I am told they can now do it cheaper . I sit through the conversation knowing they are going to ask for money and bail out
Occasionally the staff are pretty nice although today’s one Nick seemed half arsed and miserable .
Maybe this company worked out well for some people but for me personally dealing with these and Commitments protection previously they seem pretty unprofessional

Law Cost Legal are a TOTAL SCAM. They used a lot of high pressure cold calling tactics to con me out of paying a large fee up front, for supposedly making a mortgage mis-selling claim. Yet they are almost impossibe to get through to on the phone when you wish to call them. They were unwiling to provide any evidence for their successes, hiding behind so called Non-Disclosure Agreements that borrowers are supposed to be asked to sign by the lenders, as the terms for accepting out of court settlements of compensation. Their company name and web site suggests they are a Law Firm, offering standard legal services like Wills and Powers of Attorney's etc. However, they are NOT registered with the Law Society, so they are not Solicitors. They also claim NOT to be a Claims Management Company, so what are they? A total bunch of low life con-artists that's what, because they are praying on vulnerable people who are in desparate situations, conning them out of what little money they have, giving them baseless hope that they can help them, when all they are doing is helping themselves. They are the lowest of the low. How they sleep at night is beyond me.

Lawcost Legal explained everything to me that there were no guarantees and I wrote to my Lender who have agreed they owe us £4,900
it did cost £1495 which I was dubious about but in the end after 7 months it looks like I will be paid out by Santander

In response to your comment, who are you trying to pacify, we have repeatedly rang, appointments made that your company didn’t keep and email. You are only writing that to try and con others into using you. A complete set of con artists. We tried the ombudsman but as you are not regulated by th financial authorities, they wouldn’t take up the complaint, so now I’m taking all the info to Martin Lewis to get him to highlight what a scam you are on TV. I’ve written and requested a full refund but again you’ve not responded
