I hired LawnStarter for lawn care services and had a very frustrating experience. I explicitly requested that no service be performed on a specific day, but they ignored my request and came anyway.

When I reached out to resolve the issue, they admitted the provider ("pro") came that day because it was more convenient for them, not because I asked for service. At first, they refused to refund me and instead tried to sell me additional services.

It was only after I mentioned taking legal action that they issued a refund, but they called it a "one-time courtesy", rather than taking accountability for their mistake.

I find it very unprofessional that instead of owning their error, they tried to push more services and acted like they were doing me a favor by refunding me for something I never agreed to.

If you’re looking for a company that respects customer requests and takes responsibility when they mess up, I would be very cautious with LawnStarter.

Thomas at LawnStarter is absolutely wonderful! He arrived when he said he would, he asked my needs and went to work. He walked me around the property and showed me his finished work and described in detail everything he did! I would definitely recommend him!

After coming home from work, it was great to see the lawn cut, yard edged and driveway was free from grass. All was done as I requested! Thank you.

4 hours on the phone with lawnstarter to try to set up service. Never formally set up. 3 wks later they sent someone out here to mow. I told them it was already mowed and I had ended my services.

They subcontract their mowers. We have had no consistency with mowers. 1st one was ok but left our backyard a little long. 2nd we were told they would be out "Sat, Sun or Mon"...they were a no show. I called and was told they did not have time. We live in an HOA neighborhood...there are fines if the yard is not maintained. I was promised another company would be there Tues. The guy showed up, patchily mowed the backyard and left. We have a side and front yard that was left untouched. When I called to main line, I was told they would "see what they could do". Maybe someone out in a couple days. It was finally completed. I got a warning letter from my HOA. They left my gate open and my dogs escaped. They had clear instructions to make sure the gate was closed when they left.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. There is no quality control, no accountability

The lawn care service arrived on the dates that I scheduled. They completed the job quickly and my lawn looks great!

John came on Friday and mowed my lawn for the first time since we moved in. He did an awesome job and the lawn looks great.

Was professional, on time, and did a great job cleaning up our mess of a back yard. Would definitely recommend!
