Leadership Trust Avis 

My experience with the Leadership Trust surpassed all expectations. I went in with an open mind and not a whole lot of detail about the program, just that it had been highly recommended. My brain and heart were equally stretched; the challenges were outstanding (points for creativity and complexity!) and the flow kept us all on our toes. Content-wise, I left with a number of great ideas I could implement right away. Staff were exceptional. One of the best weeks of my life!

Leadership Course

The course exceed all my exceptions. I found all parts of it worth while and really well delivered.
I would suggest this course to anyone in management or going into management.

Brilliant experience! Long intense days but very powerful, all the course facilitators were helpful, encouraging and friendly. If you get the opportunity for this course I would certainly recommend it. The food was fab too - you will not go hungry that is for sure!

An intense roller-coaster of a week. Challenging both mentally and physically but with absolute support from facilitators, course staff, activity leaders and most importantly my fellow team members. An enormous amount of fun but with loads of learning to take back to my workplace.

I entered this course not expecting to get a lot from it but it pushes you in ways that you can't avoid taking things on board. It throws up suprises, gives you the extremes of very high and low emotional moments and challenges everyone at some point. It makes you ask a lot of questions about yourself and the others around you.

I didn't find something to improve. It was the best course I have ever been to :)

Great opportunity and experience

I attended the Leadership Trust training with some expectations in mind and honestly some anxiety about the whole experience. The week exceeded all possible expectations, rewired my brain and opened up horizons I completely forgot about! I felt a shift in my persepctive that developed throughout the week. Everything was spectacular from the facilitators to the attendees and let us not forget the delicious dinners! I have experienced team work and support (both physically and mentally) in a judgement free safe environment which was refreshing! I stand now in a position where I am exploring different options to build on what I have learned in that one week. I highly recommend this training to everyone who feels the need/ urge to get our of their comfort zones in order to embark on a phenomenal self development journey. And to anyone skeptical of this course, YES, in order to manage and lead people, you need to manage yourself first! This is why we have so many bosses, yet very few leaders.

If you enjoy a lovely walk through the countryside and your used to the normal 9 to 5 work schedule then you will absolutely love this course. i can honestly say that i learnt so much in the week i was there and the feedback was exceptional.

Excellent course with real-life, hands-on experience of managing diverse teams with varied backgrounds and seniority. Thoroughly enjoyed it... Keep it up.

Leadership Trust training is an amazing experience, which enables you to deep dive into yourself, into your mind and to improve - in your professional career as well as in your private life.

The course is efficiently run and well organised from a logistics perspective. The activity staff and the facilitators are friendly and well trained.
However for me this course is mis-named. It is not about leadership it is more about some sort of personal journey. This conveniently fits with the ethos that is rammed down your throat "that to lead others you must first be able to control your self".
I would strongly suggest that anyone considering the course really looks into the detail of how it is run and really thinks about how best they learn.
Experiential learning appears to involve doing an awful lot of wandering around outdoors looking at maps or staring at fairly abstract static problems wondering how to solve them. These are undoubtedly useful skills to have in certain walks of life but for me I was always missing the link to how they really supported the delegates with leading people in the modern world.
There is no personal time at all with relatively early starts and very late finishes daily. It is not surprising to know the originator of the course is ex-military and it leans heavily on that way of teaching.
In my opinion it is anything but subtle.
The hotel is average but the food was reasonable.
The daily seminars contained some interesting material but superficially covered (however very well presented).
If it was solely down to me I would not send further staff on this course.
In the interest of balance I would suggest that I was in the minority on my course and that most would probably feel more positively about it.
If you like outward bounds activities and talking about your feelings then this course very much could be for you.
Those looking for more practical guidance to the challenges of managing and leading todays business and organisations may, like me, feel disappointed.

Excellent training on both levels personal and professional. Highly recommended for middle management levels and above.

Overall feedback is positive. Suggest to have this course for managers in their early career. Facilitators to be of the same caliber.

This course is like no other I have experienced, the format and experiential basis of the course are so beneficial and impactful. It was great to meet other delegates from all over the world and have this immersive experience together.

The experience was great. It was better than my expectation, although it was both mentally and physically strenuous.

I want to thank the team of the company LeadershipTrust, and in particular our teacher Robin for his professionalism, for his sensitivity and ability to feel people. For his ability to constructively build relationships and communication between students. Thanks to this course, I was able to gain deep knowledge that I can use both at work and in life. It was the best training I have ever had, which includes both elements of team building, as well as elements of business decisions, quests and other moments that help to realize my potential. I would reccomend any leader at any stage of their career to attend this course.
