If you want to get the worst service

If you want to get the worst service, pay higher fees than stated, and have terrible customer service, then this is a good place to go to. It is sad that when I did my research, Leaders was listed as one of the top five merchant service providers. They lie, cheat, and steal your money. Their card processing machine malfunctioned and double-charged our customer. It took several hours of our time and 6 weeks for them to correct the issue. Then, to top it off, they charged me almost $400 for the faulty machine even after I returned it. Stay Clear!!!!

They want me to reach out, what a joke! I have reached out several times and they have never responded. They can reach out to me with a refund! Chico Custom Counters

Hidden fees, double charges, no support, impossible to cancel — a deceptive, scam‑like service.

Leaders Merchant Services has terrible customer service and an operational structure that forces merchants to interact with multiple disconnected providers, none of whom take accountability. This creates endless loops where you are transferred from one department to another without ever resolving the issue.
They impose hidden fees, double‑charge transactions, and batch sales in ways that make it nearly impossible to track actual deductions. Their practices are deceptive, and they fail to notify or assist merchants with chargebacks, leaving you financially exposed.
This is, by far, the worst merchant services company I have encountered. They make canceling your account nearly impossible, and customer service is effectively nonexistent. On the rare occasion you reach someone, they may be untrained, not fluent in English, hang up on you, or direct you to another number that leads nowhere.
In my experience, and consistent with widespread public reporting, this company operates in a manner that feels predatory and scam‑like. I strongly advise merchants to avoid Leaders Merchant Services.

I contacted them to get rates about credit card processing

I contacted them to get rates about switching over all credit card processing. The gentleman I talked to was very aggressive and when I told him I was not signing anything today he hung up on me. Very unprofessional.

By far the worst company to deal with. It was the worst experience in my 36 years in business. Their processing machine malfunctioned and ended up double-billing our customers' card. It took over six weeks to finally correct this. They consistently lied and failed to follow through. I find it hard to believe they are still in business. If your looking for a merchant service company KEEP LOOKING! These guys are a joke!

Hello my account is been placed on hold
And we have not receieved deposits
For the post 2 weeks - I have called and email all departments RISK collections costumer service NO ONE knows what’s going. All of them claim that this is a back office and they haven’t received any response. I have reached numerous numbers and also the person that directly onboarded my company with paysafe. NOBODY HAS BEEN ABLE TO FIX MY ISSUE nor they know what’s the specific
Reason of this. This is hurting our operations because we process several thousands of dollars through paysafe and with no warning our deposits only stopped.

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Spent countless hours trying to recover a $2,000 PIN charge and they refused to resolve it. Instead, they asked me to recharge my customers as a “credit” — completely shady practice. Not worth the fight. Do not trust this company.

Not worth the aggravation.

Every time I get on their website, a different phone number is displayed. When I called, the person answering the phone asked me how I wanted my call directed. How would I know that? When I said that I wanted to sign up, she asked me three questions and then put me on hold. The next person I talked to asked me the same three questions. If you cannot talk to each other, how are you going to help me? Not worth the aggravation.

They are the worst

First of all, the monthly fees are too high. Second of all, I purchased equipment from them so I wouldn't have to pay the loaner fee. I have the invoice FROM THEM when I purchased it, yet they keep billing me the loaner fee months later and refuse to acknowledge that I purchased it. Their customer service is horrendous.

Leaders Merchant Services is Unprofessional Co

Spoke to Juan from Sales. He was very unprofessional & aggressive. Than connected to Miles. He confused me with 500 lines of different fees and when I told him that he said I’m the only one who doesn’t understand and shouldn’t be talking to them than & hung up on me. I see why they were rated 1.4 stars. Truly fit that bad rating. Very vague, not transient and unprofessional co. I wouldn’t trust with my business these guys STAY AWAY.

Horrible company

Horrible company, avoid at all cost. They fail to complete PCI compliance when setting up the account and then don't tell you about it so that you end up with extra fees and costs, customer service is a laughable joke at best if you can get a hold of them. Fees are a complete lie and you won't be able to get a full breakdown of what they're trying to charge you. When I first signed up they were super helpful sweet talking you in to good prices and good percents and then 30 to 60 days later you can't get any service the monthly fee goes from $25 to over $100 with no explanation and no breakdown.

My Regret of Doing Business with Them

When I initially spoke with "Mr. P." of Leaders Merchant Services back on 3/13/24, he seemed to extremely helpful, kind, professional and knowledgeable - boy, was I wrong. The initial monthly fees that were initially communicated with me as a small business customer service company were minimal (approx. $15-$22/month), however, that all changed a month afterward and I began receiving deductions of $140 from my business checking account. I was livid, to say the least. When I contacted "Mr. P." via email on 8/29/24, he said he was on vacation and would get back. He then responded with an email absconding him of all responsibility and to contact customer service with any questions I may have. I felt violated and bamboozled. Since that time, I have emailed and called him numerous times to get a response, and he has ignored every one of my messages. However, I've been trying to get a refund of the monies deducted from my account wrongfully. It's been over $320, and I am not a happy camper right now. As a matter of fact, when I contacted their main offices both on 9/16/24 and 10/1/24, they said that they won't be refunding any of my money. What?!!!! I have no activity on my account.

My message to the CEO of Leaders Merchant Services: Sir, you are running a dirty business. How can you or any of your team sleep well at night knowing that you are fraudulently conducting business with innocent and hardworking business owners? Shame on you! Your business and your team are not operating in integrity. You're quick to take money from others but not quick to make things right. As a customer service coach, this is what I talk and teach - the business practices of businesses and exceptional customer service delivery. This company is a scam, and I am willing to take this as far as it needs to go to get justice not only for myself, but for countless others who have been deceived.

To the thousands of viewers who may come across this review, please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for business. Save yourself the heartache and grief of having to conduct business with those who don't care about you as a customer and who will stoop to the lowest to make a quick dollar.

To "Mr. P.": Sir, I trusted you with the info you provided. You were a smooth talker who simply made your commission with me and went on to your next victim. You are a wolf in sheep's clothing. Period. Unfortunately, I learned you are not the professional I thought you were.

To Leaders Merchant Services: If you don't get yourselves together, your business will be listed in the archives of those who took advantage of others and failed miserably.

Leaders Merchant Services – Fees and Frustration

We recently used Leaders Merchant Services, which processes payments through PaySafe, and unfortunately, our experience was less than ideal. While they do provide a variety of payment processing options 💳 and initially seemed like a solid choice for our business, we quickly ran into significant issues.

First, we were hit with unexpected fees 💸. After processing $1,300, we saw a charge of $66, approximately 5% of what we made, which felt excessive. There was little transparency around these fees, and when we tried to get clarity, we were directed to outsourced tech support that offered minimal help 🛑. Each interaction led to the same frustrating result: being told to open a ticket in their malfunctioning back-end system 💻.

Additionally, the Clover Mini device they sent us was broken upon arrival 🛠️. Unfortunately, we had to cover the return shipping ourselves 📦. It’s worth noting that customer service could use serious improvement, as all troubleshooting steps were handled by outsourced teams that struggled to address the issues effectively 🤦‍♂️.

On the upside, they do offer a wide range of merchant services 💼 and, if everything works smoothly, it might work well for some businesses. However, given our experience, I would strongly recommend exploring other options before committing to this service 🛑, as the hidden fees and customer support challenges outweighed the convenience.

Proceed with caution if you're considering Leaders Merchant Services and PaySafe ⚠️.

Company provided excellent service for…

Company provided excellent service for a number of years.......... until a problem developed with their terminal and we began to notice the card transactions failed to transmit to our bank account. Invested unacceptable amount of time on the phone with Leaders attempting to resolve the matter. Their customer service personnel were polite, however completely clueless as to resolution... although quite accomplished in transferring calls to other departments. I have a business to operate and it's difficult to do so when a credit card machine is out-of-service for more than a week. While substantial losses were realized due to lost sales during this period; ultimately Leaders' failed experiment in customer service resulted in a blessing as we have located an alternate service with better rates and faster deposits. I don't know if Leaders has been sold or changed management as there was a time that excellent service was typical for Leaders.

TOTAL SCAM.

TOTAL SCAM.. I wish I could rate them lower than 1 star. They were my merchant service provider and closed my account without any solid claim. Just to get some money they close their clients accounts. Company is a total scam no customer support, and the risk team is just a bunch of losers who don't have manners Finally got in touch with someone and they stated they wanted to do a risk review. Over a month later after not answering emails they decided they would hold the money for 180 days. I closed the account that day, now I'm just waiting for over $10,000 in revenue my company earned Never WORK with them. don't give them a single penny.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. ALL THEY WANT TO DO IT ACQUIRE YOUR BANKING INFORMATION SO THEY CAN WITHDRAWAL FROM YOUR ACCOUNT. THEY ARE A CREDIT CARD PROCESSING COMPANY. OUR FIRST TWO TRANSACTION WENT THROUGH WITHOUT A PROBLEM. HOWEVER, AFTER THAT WE RECEIVED CHARGES THAT THEY ASSESSED ON THEIR OWN. WE CONTACTED THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE PHILLIPINES OR INDIA AND THEY STATED THEY WOULD ESCALATE THE MATTER. WELL THAT WAS TWO MONTHS AGO. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK INFORMATION TO THIS COMPANY.

Crazy fees

When they sign you up, they promise no fees. Then they start you off of small fees and after that they gradually start ramping up fees for that and for that. It is just unbelievable. I did not like this company. Every time you complain they offer to review the account, but they never do anything for you anyway. They do not even deserve 1 star in my opinion.
