Learn Voice Acting Avis

Learn Voice Acting is a great way to get started if you want to be a Voice Actor. It provides an easy-to-understand guide from the minimum of what you need to get started to how to grow your business in voice over. I booked my first few jobs before I was even half way through the course, and you won’t find a more helpful community in the Voice Acting industry either!

Joe communicates effectively and efficiently. He offers tremendous insight, wisdom, and empathy into our sessions.

I joined Learn Voice Acting back when it was Joe Zieja's Voice Acting Academy and let me tell you it's just gotten better with time. Every lesson has helped me grow as a voice actor, I've learned and put into practice everything I can and if you feel like you've forgotten something you can go and review it again since it's here permanently. 10/10 course!!

Joe Zieja’s Voice Acting Academy is incredible! It’s the best VA training and education I’ve ever received! It’s worth every penny.

By far the most comprehensive guide on all things voiceover/voice-acting. Super valuable even for people not in the VA space who just want to improve their audio presentation. Joe is a great teacher and makes the material easy to understand while also being in-depth. 1000% recommended.

JZVAA has been an incredible experience - the amount of information alone is completely worth it, but the community that you become a part of just takes it over the top. Literally every single thing you could possibly need to know about becoming a voice artist is covered in some (or total) capacity through the courses provided...it is that comprehensive. I've been in VO for years, but through this program have been able to increase my shortlists/bookings/overall revenue. What's the cliche saying...it works if you work it? The more you put into absorbing the content, applying the lessons, and really putting in the effort to improve your VO skills, the better the results will be. It's an incredible resource, and even greater community.

Joe's course is both comprehensive and easy to consume. Joe is a phenomenal presenter being concise while also impactful in his lessons. This makes the content feel really easy to learn form and the community is great.

You know whats funny, I had been doing voice acting for several years prior to seeing this course. I knew the basics, I'd watched other videos. Joe makes it obvious that anyone, no matter how experienced, can always learn new things. He's very clearly passionate and knowledgeable about what he does and it shows in this course. Even if you're a seasoned veteran, but especially if you're just starting out, give Joe a shot. It's a great course.

This course has given me more information about VO than I could have hoped. It makes you completely equipped to start your new journey

I am thrilled to share my experience with Joes voice acting academy! This has been instrumental in launching my voice acting career. The curriculum is comprehensive, covering everything from vocal techniques to character development, and the hands-on training provided me with the confidence to explore my unique voice. The academy fosters a supportive and creative environment that encourages collaboration among students. Networking opportunities with industry professionals have opened doors I never thought possible.

Thanks to JZVA, I not only developed my craft but also gained the tools needed to navigate the voice acting industry successfully. I cannot recommend this academy highly enough for anyone serious about pursuing a career in voice acting!

The hook for JZVAA was that any voice could do it, but it's more than just a nice voice. The modules and videos are an excellent way to jumpstart your career i voice-over. If not for this program, I would have never found the step by step to getting into it. It's the first resource I send those interested in voice-acting to!

I've had a great time going through Joe's Voice Acting academy! I love the format and it's helped me understand what the industry is all about. I'm excited to be a part of it. Thank you!!!

Great value. I am always learning and trying to be the best Voiceactor to my ability. I found Joe's courses to very helpful. He covers everything. And I learned. Thanks Joe!

Before taking this course, I didn't know the first thing about voice acting. I was especially daunted by the equipment (I am not a very tech-savvy person) and the process of finding work. This course breaks everything down to a very "beginner-friendly" level, including walkthroughs of everything from the mechanical setup/purchasing involved, to how to approach the line-reading and delivery process. It's an all-in-one course and has helped me find many jobs in voice acting for audiobooks, animatics, shorts, fan projects, and more (I have already made hundreds of dollars back in voice acting jobs). From the helpful lessons, to the for-life access, to the connections you get to many other voice acting students and professionals... This course is SO worth it!

They are vary helpful and intractive, the community is also really great. This really has helped not only giving how to do it but the financial and mental of it all

A friend found LearnVoiceActing and shared the online course with me since they knew I was interested in launching a 2nd career as a Voice Actor. I had already taken 2 online, intro voice acting classes from a reputable LA casting studio. They were great at helping me start learning how to act, but I didn’t have any concrete ideas how to start a Voice Acting business or what I needed to know other than that I needed to build my acting skill.
Well, after completing the LearnVoiceActing curriculum, I’m pleased to say it was The ticket to helping me move forward! The creator, Joe Zieja, built a very comprehensive set of information & insights that taught me what genres are in the industry, what to think about when building my 1st audio chain, what demos are used for and when to think about doing one and much, much more!
LearnVoiceActing was the catalyst for me to retire from my 30 year IT career and launch my 2nd career as a voice actor. If you’re thinking about it, try LearnVoiceActing!

The Voice Acting Academy came to me at the perfect time. I was fresh off a few months of coaching, hopeful to get started... but had no idea how to actually get work. I booked another session with my coach at the time, but we ran out of time before even scratching the surface. JZVAA showed me where to find work, how to audition, and even answered questions I wouldn't need to know until later in my career, like joining SAG-AFTRA (which I was able to handle perfectly because I knew what to do thanks to JZVAA). If you've ever put your voice acting dreams on hold because of any of a thousand reasons, do yourself a favor and stop waiting. Enroll in an LVA course and start chasing your dreams.

Awesome course. Joe teaches how to sound good and also shows how to make a career out of voice acting. The lessons are super clear, straight to the point, and has with great industry advice. Joe keeps it fun and honest, breaking down everything from auditions to marketing in a way that makes sense. Whether you’re just starting out or trying to step up your game, this course is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

The base course from LVA is one of the most detailed compilations that I would recommend for anyone interested in starting voice over professionally. As someone with more years under my belt before starting the course, Joe also helped cultivate a mindset that synergizes with the industry and my growing career.

As I also proceed in my VO journey and stumble across new milestones, it's always helpful to go back to the course and hear Joe's opinion on that topic (because the course is just that detailed that he most likely has *something* on it)

Other aspects from LVA that I participated in (COC, PV, and direct marketing) also have incredible quality and attention put into them for their students. LVA and their offerings are great for all levels.

I was one of the first adopters of this course when it fully launched in early 2023, and I can safely say that it kickstarted my career! A full overview of the industry and professional advice that you can always go back and reference when you need it! Loved watching this course grow and the subsequent offerings that have been added since! Extremely great stuff, only thing missing is your commitment to the craft! Don't wait, buy it and don't look back!
