I ordered an expensive floral…
I ordered an expensive floral arrangement for a memorial in Redlands, California. The bouquet was delivered to my house in Tennessee.
The ivory and green flowers were replaced with gaudy yellow and purple ones.
I don't recommend this site.

Ratchet people
They are.\n The pits in 2021I called about this obituary. I seen online that had my son's picture, but a different name when I called them and asked them about this Dr. Leon obituary and also he was known as a.k.a. deonte Leon Robinson, also devonte Leon Robinson. I changed both of my names from death threats from his father, Herman Charles Robinson. 1 minute they have his body women. If they don't have this body, even till today is still the yes, they have his body. No, they don't have his body. When I try to go in and upload photos, they have did something to circumvent the photos from being uploaded. I've called about this numerous amounts of times I have not gotten a return phone call from the last time iPhone, which would have been roughly around February 17th. Now, it's February 21st and I've tried to upload some more pictures on his obituary. Because his father fell to try to contact me and they have gotten into my phone. And when I try to repost pictures, when it says add a memory, they will not allow my phone access my photos to a blue picture of my son, Mickey Mouse and myself. I see that it's going to take more action to get some results for them. They're really ratchet, and they misinform people, then when they put you on hold, the recording tells you about, oh, you can make pre funeral barrel arrangements, so they're trying to solicit you when you're on hold, calling about your loved one.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this…
Do yourself a favor and avoid this “provider” which is nothing more than a scam. We ordered flowers for a funeral, and we were reassured that they were going to be delivered on time. Luckily we checked, and they never arrived. We never received a call or an email stating such. When we called, we were informed that they were scheduled for an alternate day which makes no sense as the funeral was a one day event. We are still working on getting our money back.
Legacy has been excellent.
Great and caring customer service
Everyone was really helpful and kind. I was very pleased with everyone I spoke to. You have a great team. Keep up the great work!
Embarrassed to have sent, Do not use
While the delivery was on time, the arrangement was terrible. This was for a work colleague and I was embarrassed to see the flowers looked like they were grabbed, stuck in a vase with no interest, tips of the lilies were bent and brown, and 1/2 the buds unopened (and I suspect never did open). I would not recommend anyone using this flower service. Most florist are fantastic direct. I thought since the funeral home recommended, it would be ok, but it was not.
Five Star Experience!
I was disappointed to read so many negative reviews. My experience with Legacy.com was quite the opposite. After uploading an obituary and photos for my wife, I had several updates, edits, and changes I wanted to make. From updating text to rearranging photos (and I uploaded more than 200), the support staff were so accommodating. They responded to every request, with changes usually incorporated within an hour or two. They were supportive, caring, and empathetic to what I was going through. If I requested changes that were atypical to what their system could handle, they always found a work around. I never made one request that they could not accommodate me with. I cannot say enough about how fabulous the staff has been. Plus, I see some reviews that complained about the price. I placed obituaries in three different newspapers around the country with prices ranging from $400 to $700. One picture, limited text, and the obituaries ran for only one day. For what turned out to be a very extensive obituary with multiple photos, my cost on Legacy.com was $188, and my wife will be forever immortalized. I do not believe that Legacy.com charges enough for the services they provide. For what Legacy.com provided me, I would have happily paid as much or more than what I paid for traditional newspapers. There is no comparison. I would highly recommend Legacy.com to anyone who wish to have there loved ones forever remembered. Thank you to all the staff at Legacy.com. Job well done!
Compasionate in the throes of exorbitant pricing
The exorbitant prices imposed by the NYTimes on subscribers in mourning made it difficult for us to decide what to do. Throughout that multi-day process, the Legacy staff were perfect - kind, patient, understanding, flexible and helpful.
Don’t send flowers through Legacy!
Legacy sent an email the day of the funeral saying they could not deliver flowers to the viewing, which was the day before the funeral! Do not send flowers through Legacy!
Don’t order anything through them!
I had no idea they are not directly linked to the funeral home of the deceased. I didn’t read the negative views until after I purchased flowers, card and tree through them. The flowers I ordered were a big beautiful basket of white flowers. What was received were about 5 sunflowers in small vase with a Fall ribbon they had left on hand. This was for a funeral not a Pumpkin Fest. After reading their reviews, I’m lucky something was sent -at all. I contacted the funeral home that was listed complaining and found they have nothing to do with Legacy.com. Live & Learn people, I’m out $200, you have been warned. I tried to copy and post the pictures of what I ordered and what was received, but it would not work here.

I would give this company zero stars if I could. I tried to post a tribute to my brother who recently passed away. I have been no contact with our mother for many years but very close to my brother. They have refused to post a lovely tribute to him. I wish I could add the screen shot of the post.
SEVEN days and still no obituary.
SEVEN days and still no obituary.
Your service is irept and cruel.
You actually pretended you were the Times Union Albany .
NEVER NEVER NEVER use this company
NEVER NEVER NEVER use this company. Basically operating a fraudulent flower sale/delivery operation. YOU WILL SPEND ON NOTHING.
Scumbags
Website fails to allow for death registrations outside the USA or Canada. They can’t answer the phone in normal US office hours, when bothered to pick up the phone the operator is as much use as a chocolate teapot. Final kick in teeth is after taking your money, they then want to put my mum’s obituary as a clickbait factory for flowers and tree planting.
The Plain Dealer
The customer service and posthaste responses were top notch!
Trustpilot: Obituary Placement Desk Rating
This was a great experience for me and my family because this company was timely when they posted our mother's obituary, and they were thorough and professional, making sure we could provide edits if necessary before the final posting went public. In addition to the obituary, they also allowed us to post next to it, a great picture of our precious, beautiful mother.
Gestapho Copyright Police - who don't know what they are talking about!
I wrote a remembrance for a friend of 45 years who passed recently. I wrote several paragraphs, and included remarks from a teacher we both knew. They refused to publish our teacher's remarks because they said the remarks were "copyrighted material". I know for a fact, these remarks are not true.
I wrote them, explained I knew they were not copyrighted remarks and introduced them to Copyright Fair Use law and tests for "for profit or gain" vs "fair use".
They ignorantly continued with a refusal to allow me to express myself on behalf of my friend which they somehow determined were copyrighted remarks which I find truly appalling.
As an author of six books and well over 200 articles, they simply ignored the law and interferred with my remembrance that was meant for so many other people to know about my friend Barabara. Please reference:
"Fair use permits a party to use a copyrighted work without the copyright owner’s permission for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research. These purposes only illustrate what might be considered as fair use and are not examples of what will always be considered as fair use."
From 17 U.S. Code § 107
The determination of whether a use is fair involves considering four factors:
• The purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit or educational purposes;
• The nature of the copyrighted work;
• The amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and
• The effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work.
I suppose you are saying that if I use a quote from the Pope, you would not allow it. Copyright Fair Use allows others to build upon the thoughts, ideas and values of another's copyrighted material; to expand ideas and thoughts, rather than rigidity and restriction.
I wonder how many headstones have remarks uttered by others, copyrighted or not. Copyright information has a broad application in everyday society. Copyright law is not to restrict as much as properly attribute someone's work. To use copyrighted information for gain is where the issue begins.
How would anything go forward if we could not stand on the shoulders of those who came before us documenting what they learn?
The main function of copyright is a notice attributing the material to the author - for which no changes are allowed. Again, using someone's copyrighted material for gain is the beginning of where a complaint might start for which the above four test rules apply per 17 U.S. Code § 107.
