In the end, it wasn’t a difficult decision to choose LET Electrical & Renewables for our solar installation.

I was curious about how solar could work for us so I filled out an online form requesting quotes and call back(s). I was swamped with calls and emails but was so glad to answer the call from Lewis.

Even though LET is based around 25 miles from our house, Lewis was the first person that offered to come out, in person, for a survey and quote. There was no high pressure sales tactics, no last minute offers, no deals expiring in the next hour, or salesman type swagger with LET. Just an honest business with a product/service to provide.

Lewis came out when he said he would, armed with shoe covers (a very nice touch!) - others had come into our brand new house without even an offer to take their shoes off.

We asked Lewis a few questions and he didn’t even seem to mind when we tactfully got a bit more personal given how much we were likely to be spending on the project. It wasn’t the biggest of projects (12 panels) but a lot of money for us on a long term investment.

On the day Lewis’ employees (Marley and Mark) couldn’t have been more respectful or polite if they tried, and are a credit to the company. They worked tidily, kept us informed about the progress of the install, with an ETA of their arrival over the 2 days.

It’s been about a month since the install was done and all of our paperwork has come through, we’re just waiting for our energy provider to get us set up for export payments. You even get a hand off brochure which details everything you need to know if you ever sell your house which you can give to the next owner.

You should definitely give Lewis from LET Electrical & Renewables a consideration when getting your quotes.

Lewis and his team, Marley and Mark were a pleasure to have working on my installation. They were very polite and took the time to help me understand whenever I had a question. I can thoroughly recommend LET Electrical &Renewables to anyone considering a solar panel / ev charging system. Lewis clearly explained the system and the various options prior to us deciding to go ahead with the project. His team, comprising Marley, Mark and Kieran, were brilliant and did an excellent job. It was completed efficiently and promptly on time and the property was kept neat and tidy throughout. On completion Lewis took time to fully explain the operation of each component of the system and it's various controls and settings. Buying and researching solar was like double glazing 20 years ago, until Lewis from LET turned up. From the start he was informative, had great knowledge and information and at no stage did we feel under pressure to purchase. He left me time to do my own research and welcomed the suggestion of Sigenergy for our battery. The job itself was organised weeks ahead to give me time to arrange scaffolding and to get the roof prepared - cleaned and any damaged tiles repaired/replaced.
They arrived as scheduled and completed the job on time and to a very high standard, the place was left tidier than they found it in. The work carried out was really neat and tidy and they clearly take pride with the work they produce. Harley whilst currently the apprentice will have a great career and he showed great maturity and pride in his work.
Some companies as soon as the job is done they disappear- NOT LETS, lewis has been on hand to handle any questions after the install, as I am still learning how best to work the system.

I have used LET Electrical Services on three separate occasions and each time I have found Lewis and his colleagues to be very punctual, considerate and efficient. I have also found his charges to be reasonable and I have no hesitation in recommending his services.

Everyone was super-polite and respectful.

Just can't fault LET for their professionalism, flexibility, knowledge and ability to do the work required to install an EV charger. Lewis cane surveyed established what was required and quoted for the work to install the charger we chose. He completed the paperwork for SSEN and chased our fuse upgrade. Installation was fast efficient and done with the minimum of disruption and no mess, very tidy job carried out by professional installers proud of their work, place left clean and tidy, all packaging etc taken away.

We would highly recommend and am more than satisfied with the services provided by LET Electrical & renewables.
