So far, I've had a truly wonderful experience at Key! The team has made the journey great! When I first became aware of the model/company, I had ZERO expectations as it was very new. And everyone on the team was so accommodating to make sure I understood exactly what I was getting myself into, and I love it. It's a truly awesome solution to the housing crisis in Toronto - as owning any kind of real estate in this city is nearly unimaginable for millennials and immigrants.

Key is also constantly finding unique ways to sweeten the pot and reward their community members, like discounts on home-related products/services, tangible ways to help build your credit, and more - it's actually pretty wild all the things they have going on!

I recommend Key to my friends, family, & peers very often. I think the next area of opportunity for Key for them to get even more inventory - when I do send someone I know to the website, there aren't always vacancies in Toronto (although they are expanding in other cities which is awesome). That being said, I think if more owners/developers/investors knew about and took action on Key's model, I think that would do wonders to address that. Also, if realtors were to recommend Key to their clients, that would would likely aid in that area as well.

And on top of everything, Key is quite keen on building a real community amongst its Owner-Residents (they even have quarterly socials), and they are very responsive to any issues/concerns.

I'm very happy with Key and my partner and I plan to stay in their ecosystem for the foreseeable future!

Super friendly staff and community. It feels more like we’re part of key rather than just residents. They take their time to get to know their co-owners and they help them move in and get acquainted with their neighbours with their social events.
