Here at Lifetime, we’re all fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructors. We’re from various backgrounds but we’ve all got one thing in common, which is not only to get you to pass your driving test but to get you driving safe for your life. We cover Bolton and due to exceptionally high pass rates and recommendations we have now expanded into Bury and Ramsbottom and offer discounts for block bookings for those who wish to do so. We have male AND female instructors so you will definitely find an instructor with us who will help you relax, have fun and enjoy your experience of learning to drive – this instructor will stay with you until you pass your test and all our instructors are fully DBS checked. As a driving school, we have very impressive first time pass rates and plenty of experience in driving tests as our very own Lynne Fitzharris (owner of Lifetime and fully qualified ORDIT registered DVSA approved driving instructor) worked for the DVSA for 27 years as an Assistant Chief Driving Examiner in which part of her role was to actually conduct driving tests. Interesting fact…Lynne has conducted well over 30,000 driving tests during her time with the DVSA, most of these being carried out at Bolton Driving Test Centre, so to quote Lynne “there ain’t much about driving tests and how to pass that I don’t know”!!! Lynne’s extensive knowledge has been passed on to all our instructors here at Lifetime as we are all internally trained by the oracle herself!!!…so you can be assured that the training you receive is unique, extremely accurate, modern and up to date with the new driving test requirements. Ruth was absolutely amazing!
Ruth was absolutely amazing!! Was an amazing instructor and helped me improve and get ready for my test! Without her I wouldn’t have been able to do as well as I did. She encouraged me and pushed me out of my comfort zone along side understanding where I need to improve and helped me achieve only 2 minors in my test! Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor and I’m going to miss her!

Passed my test 1st time with only 3 minors with Roger as my instructor. He’s really considerate and patient when making errors but also has a good balance at giving constructive advice which allowed me to improve with my confidence. He made me feel really comfortable and relaxed in the car while also making it fun (he always has a joke to say!) Couldn’t recommend Roger enough

Be prepared for dodgy jokes and most definitely english and history lessons 😂

I was struggling with my previous instructor and had a test booked in 2 weeks time roger was helpful and managed to fit me in for a few lessons and my test, Roger was very kind and reassuring and boosted my confidence ready for my test it was the best decision I could have made, brilliant instructor and makes you feel at ease can't recommend highly enough

Great experience
What made my experience great was my awesome instructor. He has always been extremely patient, positive and encouraging the whole way, helping me get a first time pass. Communication in the car and outside discussing time slots/availability was easy and clear. I felt nice and confident for my test. Overall a great driving experience. 👍🏻
