the directions are pretty easy to follow and I really like how the LMB fit with Lego sets

The new system is such an amazing upgrade over the previous one. Being able to light it as I built it made a huge difference. The lights really set this piece off.

No better than the old style braided cables. Extremely over priced.

The lights really enhanced the look of my legos. It was a bit tricky to install when the model was already built. I suggest using the lights as you build.

One thing I lover about LMB is the fact that the cables are very well designed and can easy blend in with the LEGO set. When I bought my first one I was a little skeptical but I’m have been pleased with the quality and instructions that come with them.

Love the flat cable construction. makes it much easier to build it out.

My order arrived fast and before Christmas! The the light kit itself is amazing and really highlighted some of the more hidden features in the rivendell build that really enhance it but we were disappointed with the components. I had a hard time finding which USB plug was needed. I ordered a USB c assuming the 2.0 rivendell set would have been upgraded to a new connection. It was not so now we're out money or having to pay to ship and return. Also the USB wall adapter received smelled of chemicals and made a humming noise when plugged in. Its not safe to use so I had to purchase a different plug in addition to a different USB connection type. LMB recommends using their accessories but for as much as everything costs its disappointing that the connection type needed isn't clearly labeled anywhere and the quality issues with the wall adapter make me hesitate on the next purchase knowing what we had to go through and the extra costs just to use the lights.

Is ZERO an option?

I’m so PISSED, my order was received with only parts and an inventory list of the parts, no mention of the 5 kits i ordered. I have no idea what oarts go to what kit.

The website is a mess, i don’t know if i should look for 1.0 or 2.0! I found one kits instructions, but it jumps right into how to take apart the finished model, where does it list the parts I need from the two boxes i received ?

We did have one light not work and one was missing. In order to receive new ones we had to complete a form. We felt it would have been nice to talk with a customer service person rather than do it ourselves. The replacement lighta arrived in the mail two weeks after Christmas. They are working great.

The kit seems good. The instructions basically add the lighting into the LEGO instructions which is very helpful. It was a gift and the recipient is still building it. The light cables are a bit fragile. She broke one and now I need to buy a replacement which only comes in a 4-pack. Would have been nice if this kit included some extra wires. It’s not a cheap kit so it would have been appreciated.

The end product is amazing! The only downside is that the instructions can be hard to follow. Lego pieces that need to be removed are circled in green or red on the pictures. So if you have a build with lots of color (the galaxy build) it's hard to find which piece they're trying to draw attention to. Maybe use arrows as well as the circles so it's easier to spot?

Arrived quickly and really elevated the lego set. I bought it for my son and he was blown away.

We love the results! It was a test of intuition and trial and error at the start to install and connect, as we could not locate some wire. We then noticed photo guide showed a slightly different wire and moved on. Requires patience but well worth the effort!

you are amazing! Your set-ups may be a little pricey, but way ahead of anything else out there. Once you get the hang of running wires, it gets a little bit easier. However, young hands and fingers have so much more dexterity and don’t have some of the difficulties that older hands have ( what else can I say about aging )
My latest investment ( light kit for new big LEGO Christmas tree ) took my grandson 8 hrs. to wire. But… it’s just beautiful! Looking forward to lighting the Holiday Village with the 2.0 kit. A huge improvement over the older sets

It took almost a month for my order to arrive. There was no communication from Light My Bricks until I opened a ticket. At that time, I was told that a part was out of stock. No indication of when it would arrive. My order shipped about a week later. There were no instructions aside from a YouTube video that was very difficult to watch. The video was very rushed. It might have been fine with better camera angles and the presenter slowing down. The kit itself is well made.

So, I'm a first time user...read this with that in mind. Some of this might be me not knowing how to do this properly. First off, material quality was great and the package arrived on time and as described. A couple of things I noted during the build: 1. the lights were only involved in a few of the building steps, yet there were 100+ steps of instructions before the lego instructions were referenced. Not sure why? 2. The loose fitting LED lights did not fit into their enclosures as per the instructions. I never could get them flush. 3. The light enclosures on the launch pad do not fit correctly against the railing pieces. Any time the base is bumped, one or more of them fall off. It would have been better if they had an open ended "horse shoe" type fitting to wrap around the outside of the lego pieces. 4. The wires don't click into the terminals, so I was never sure if they were secure. I didn't want to mash the wires in too hard for fear of breaking them. 5. I could not get the wires to sit in the same position as the instructions. As such, the wire running up the tower has some slack in it. In closing, none of these things are a deal breaker. I'm sure if I built a few more, I would get a better feel for how everything goes together. In the end, the kit was not as "transparent" as I thought it would be.
