Corporate Greed Masquerading as Healthcare

Eli Lilly are nothing short of disgraceful, operating with the same ruthless tactics as street dealers. Their recent 170% price hike, announced with just two weeks’ notice, is predatory, deliberately exploiting people who are already dependent on their medication. This is greed at its most shameless. They hook vulnerable people in with treatments that become essential to daily life and then tighten the noose when patients have no choice but to pay extortionate rates. Eli Lilly is not acting like a healthcare provider, they are completely devoid of ethics.

Pure greed

Pure greed. The price hikes are beyond capitalism. I hope the weight loss crowds go elsewhere and it hits their bottom line enough to hurt.

Scum

Scum. Nothing but rubbish scumrats.
Not only did they give 2 weeks notice of a sudden 170% price hack they've also deliberately as of midnight this evening (27th august) told all pharmacies to FREEZE orders until 1st September as they're bother by people stock piling they have given paitents no thought as to where there next dose come from..not thought on trigent down the doses therefore forcing people to just stop?!!! I pray to the good lord himself all the pharmacies who have treated their customer DISGRACEFULLY SINCE THE PRICES HIKE NEWS AND I PRAY THAT ELI LILLY ALL get their commence in the future. Watch sales drop massively 1st Sept. Im ok to wait for Karma do to her bit.

What a rip off!

I have been on mounjaro for two weeks - and then learn about the 170% price hike! Eli Lilly have just announced a big deal secured with NHS so presumably they are expecting their 200k UK private customers to pay for the discount given to the NHS? How can any company, never mind a health sector one, justify shafting their customers in this way, with a couple of weeks notice! They are bringing out a cheaper pill version soon they say, but I will never buy from this company again on principle. I will be buying my weight management pens from one of their competitors and hope Eli Lilly lose all their private customers!

Price increase is absolutely disgraceful

I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year and have been taking Mounjaro, which has made a real difference to my health. But Eli Lilly’s decision to increase the price by 170% is beyond outrageous. People like me have come to rely on this medication, and this level of price gouging is completely immoral.
It’s clear Eli Lilly are not in the business of doing good for their patients, they are in the business of pure greed ! To raise prices to this extent is cruel and shows a complete disregard for the wellbeing of the very people who need this medicine.

I can no longer afford to stay on it, and I have no idea how to come off it safely. I’d rather be fat than put another penny in this disgusting company’s pockets. I hope people now boycott this immoral, vile company. Our government should step in and stop companies exploiting patients like this.

Price Gougjng Profiteers

It is no coincidence that CEO of Eli Lilly, David Ricks, graduated from Purdue University. A university founded by the Sackler family, the makers of OxyContin. His $30million a year salary is further evidence of "wealth above health". He is a Sackler by any other name and is in the pocket of Donald Trump.

Absolutely disgusting company

Absolutely disgusting company. Price rises this steep with two weeks notice? What about the people who will no longer be able to afford and will have to come off their medication cold turkey? You've not even given people a chance to wean off. Horrendous.

מזרקי מונג'רו תקולים — והחברה מתעלמת


רכשתי ארבעה מזרקי מונג'רו, ובכולם חזר על עצמו אותו ליקוי חמור: המנה האחרונה פשוט לא יצאה. פעלתי בדיוק לפי ההנחיות, אך בכל אחד מהמזרקים החומר במנה האחרונה לא שוחרר – כך שבפועל הפסדתי מנה שלמה בכל מזרק. מדובר בטיפול יקר מאוד, וזו פגיעה גם כספית וגם רפואית.

פניתי לחברה מספר פעמים, בהתאם לבקשתם שלחתי כל פעם את מספר האצווה, צילומים ברורים של המזרק – אך כל מה שקיבלתי בתגובה היה ניסוח מתחמק, ללא פתרון אמיתי, ללא פיצוי וללא תחושת אחריות.

כאשר מדובר במוצר רפואי כה יקר ורגיש, השירות חייב להיות מקצועי, אמין ואכפתי. לצערי, החברה הפגינה חוסר רצינות וחוסר כבוד כלפי הלקוח.

אני כותבת את הביקורת הזו מתוך אכזבה עמוקה, וגם כדי שאחרים יהיו מודעים—ושהחברה תבין שלא ניתן להמשיך להתעלם.

Eli Lilly denies or ignores requests for replacement mounjaro injection pens leaving patients without needed medication.

I was prescribed mounjaro, and the prescription is manufactured by Lilly Company and filled at my drugstore. I am in the United States and noticed that many of the other reviews are from the United Kingdom. I believe Lilly mistreats ALL customers the same.
To my experience — I had a problem using my very first mounjaro injection pen. The bottom cap was damaged and I couldn’t get any medication; it squirted all over the floor. I called my doctor and my pharmacy and was told to call Lilly which I did. I was denied a replacement saying it was my fault.
The third mounjaro injection pen didn’t (in my pharmacist’s opinion) inject the full amount of medication. At her direction, I called Lilly and waited a total of four hours on hold. I was denied a replacement stating enough medication was injected.
This is what I believe. The Eli Lilly company does not care about its customers/patients and their medical needs. I would like to know if there is another company who manufacturers the mounjaro injection pens that could be the supplier to help us with our needs. Instead of relying on Eli Lilly, we could go to another company and have our needs met. 
This is not right to be denied our needed medication.

lousy service

lousy service. have used mounjaro several times and the pen has broken each time. have used wegovy for many months without problems so know how the pen works. eli lilly will not refund for their product. i would recommend everyone to use novo nordisk wegovy.

elendig service. har brugt mounjaro flere gange hvor pennen hver gang er gået i stykker. har brugt wegovy i mange måneder uden problemer, så ved hvordan pennen virker. eli lilly vil ikke refundere for deres produkt. jeg vil anbefale alle at bruge novo nordisk wegovy.

Dodgy pen but they tell you it's your fault

I got my first mounjaro pen ì had 1 dose the next week I tried to have the 2nd dose but the pen wouldn't work I contacted the seller they said it was nothing ti do with them (which i found odd) but I had to contact the manufacturers myself who have not replied to my calls after speaking to customer service who after each call says I will hear back in 30 days I called again this week only to get a generic reply not a personal one saying I,m at fault without investigation I still have the pen and I can clearly see the fault but they don't care £120 is a lot of money to lose

Do not buy from Eli Lilley

I bought a mounjaro weight loss pen from my local pharmacy who deal with Eli Lilley. This was my third one so I know how to use them correctly but when I tried to use this one it wouldn't inject and I noticed it had a hole in the seal. My pharmacy told me to ring Eli Lilley which I did. They weren't very helpful and after 4 weeks they sent an email saying they won't replace it after an investigation they did without even seeing the pen which now has no liquid in it at all. What a waste of money. I would not recommend this company.

Patronising company

I purchased my Mounjaro pen from my pharmacy. Unfortunately the pen did not work at all. I returned to my pharmacy who advised that I needed to contact the supplier for a replacement or refund

I have now received the reply which says that I’m not entitled to a replacement or refund as it’s my fault!!!! How on earth it’s my fault when they haven’t even requested the faulty pen back to see!!’ Got sent a patronising email telling me how to use it which I already know as I’m not stupid. Called to raise the complaint which was as much use as a chocolate tea pot!!!
I’ve emailed again to complain

Another Mounjaro duff pen

Tried to inject with my brand new Mounjaro pen but it would not depress. After spending an hour trying to get it to work, the plunger would not budge so no meds received and blood sugar spiking. Spoke to my pharmacist who said call the doctor. Called the doctor and they said call the pharmacist. Called the pharmacist again but they were having none of it and suggested I call the manufacturer. Called Ely Lilly who said dont try to use the pen again and call the doctor for a new presciption. Called the doctor again but they are unable to speak with me until tomorrow. You could not make this up. Everyone passing the buck . Where does the buck stop?? Customer service is beyond appalling. When will someone take responsibility. If I were a private client I would issue proceedings against this company.
