Purchased the deluxe bouquet. Very small cakes. Photo of bouquet of cakes very misleading. Floral peony bouquet was just plain white. Boring. Very expensive for a very underwhelming gift. Sadly will never order again.

I had ordered for them to be delivered on the 21st they came over 2 weeks early. They were very dry and nothing special that I thought a small businesses would give. Sorry cannot recommend. And very over priced for dry cake

Exquisite little mouthfuls of sheer delight
The Little Cake Company makes the most exquisite tasting cakes which are a little more than a couple of bites. I have ordered these twice recently as a desert when entertaining, but they would also be perfect for a gift or afternoon tea. Each tray of cakes is well packaged, easily removed and the fact you can mix and match your flavours ensures something to look forward to. I cannot recommend enough.

Cakes looked great but I wanted to collect
The cakes looked great - but they were a present for hospital staff so didn't get to try them myself.
Only issue was I requested to collect from store location but they were sent out by post instead - was slightly inconvenient as it meant I didn't have them in time and had to make a special journey to the hospital to drop them off the following day - but they did look good

Ordered truffles for Christmas presents…
Ordered truffles for Christmas presents on the 1st December for delivery on the 22nd December. I was informed in the afternoon on 22nd December that the items I ordered were out of stock - which they weren’t when I ordered them. Clearly the earlier delivery dates got preferential treatment and they didn’t do adequate stock checks. Mistakes happen and thankfully they weren’t for something very important but even so I wouldn’t trust this company again.

Lovely small cakes
The wine didn’t arrive with the cakes, booked for Monday 22nd December, cakes arrived on Saturday, no sign of wine, second attempt was due 24 th December, did not arrive. Still waiting, so disappointed by that, as was a Christmas present.

Cakes tasted the same,YUK! They were overly sweet no better than any shop bought cake. Extortionate price for tiny lumps of artificial sponge and the buttercream filling and topping was disgusting. What more can be added? A thoroughly disappointing experience. Only upside was that the delivery side was excellent

Sadly we didn't get the cakes on time for a party on the 19th December ,the package arrived on the 20th. However the packaging was excellent cakes are in the fridge and will be tasted on Xmas Day. They look delicious.

Expensive for small product
I feel the overall pricing was extreme for some very small tiny cakes that I received. I accept I should have read size specifications however 30 pounds for 9 cakes the size of my little finger is extreme.

Mainly delicious but smaller than expected
There was guidance as to the little cakes contents online, & they were mainly delicious but it would have helped if they had been individually labelled when sent out. We did a tasting of 9 & got a bit lost with our favourites & not preferred ones! Also they were smaller than we expected.

Afternoon tea selection ordered
Afternoon tea selection ordered, as a birthday gift.
I was very disappointed by the plastic egg box like presentation and the printed cardboard sleeve stating "Festive selection " Inappropriate for a birthday.
"The little cake company" response to me have been unhelpful, and dismissive.
Don't buy, it's an expensive price to pay for an inferior product.
The cakes themselves are no better than any shop bought cake, and the filling artificial tasting cream, the decorations on top spoiled by the packaging in transit.
