Tiegan and Ella stood out in particular – they were not only friendly but also exceptionally knowledgeable about the entire sofa range. Their ability to explain the nuances of each piece, from construction details to fabric options, helped me feel confident in my choices.
The store itself runs smoothly; the layout is clear, the displays are well‑organised, and the checkout process was efficient. It’s evident that Loaf places a strong emphasis on customer care – they listened attentively to my preferences, offered practical advice without pressuring me, and followed up promptly with the delivery schedule.

Although the website is good, it's important to be able to test chairs/sofas/beds to make sure they're well made and comfortable. Going to Battersea enabled us to do that.
We were also able to look at all the fabrics and compare their quality, price and colour and take away the samples we liked best to check them at home.
I loved the addition of chocolate!

Great experience overall. We went on a busy Saturday but there were plenty of staff around to help us. The cinema room is amazing for keeping the kids entertained to allow you peace to look around! Brilliant service and showroom.

I love the shop layout and space. I can feel and see the well thought out layout which caters for visitors.
We went over with the kids to try the new egg chair. The kids were kept well entertained with a cinema room and popcorn. They also have a couple of board games.
There was a large amount of furniture from sofas and chairs to beds tables as well as kitchen items.
The only reason I have a 4 rather than a 5 star is because they were a bit understaffed at the time, which meant we had a bit of a wait before we were looked after.

The collection of furniture at Battersea was very good.
The large screen worked well when looking at items in various colours- so much better than on the phone.
The assistant was very helpful.

From the moment we entered the store, the team onsite were very helpful and supportive. We ended up buying a sofa in within 2h. Great costumer service !!

What a fabulous experience ordering our new sofas at the Battersea Shack. We were assisted by Tiegan whose knowledge of the range of products is excellent, and was incredibly attentive to our needs. Thanks Loaf, you’ve made shopping for sofas an absolute joy.

I was told 2-3 working days delivery then received an email saying it had been booked for delivery in 10 working days - that’s 18 actual days. When I called was put on hold - number 1 in queue changed after 5 mins to number 2 in queue. Eventually got hold of someone who said they’d change it and honour delivery contract - very apologetic. Heard nothing more. Called again and salesperson blamed Parcelforce problems and didn’t confirm any delivery time. A shambles in customer service.

Everyone in the store was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly (we dealt with both Liams who were great). The shop were also set up in a way that made what could have been a stressful situation actually really enjoyable. Bonus points for the tea cakes!!

Buying a sofa is a big purchase - I looked at a lot of brands but I by far had the best experience with Loaf. They answered all my questions, allowed me to take my time and made it an enjoyable experience. I couldn’t be happier with my choice and I’m excited for this sofa to be the centrepiece of my living room.

I placed my order with an expected delivery window of 3rd–17th December, ordering well before the stated last date for pre-Christmas delivery. Unfortunately, the delivery has been repeatedly delayed. Originally I was informed that it will arrive on 31st well beyond the delivery window. A few days later I got a call informing me it will no longer arrive on the 31st December and is now scheduled for 3rd January 10 weeks after ordering and over two weeks after the original delivery window ended. I also never received a email to book a delivery.
What’s particularly disappointing is the number of delays and the lack of proactive communication. This is especially frustrating given that everything else ordered for the same room arrived on time, exactly as promised. When asking for a date in early December I had to wait more than a week for a reply.
The contrast in customer service before and after placing the order has been stark. Prior to purchase, the service was excellent, which gave me confidence to proceed with what is a significant and premium purchase. However, once the order was placed and money taken, that level of care seemed to disappear. There has been no effort to explain or make up for the delays.
Given the cost of the sofa, I expected delivery timelines to be honoured or, at the very least, clear and consistent communication when delays occur with some effort to make up for it or at the very least apologise. The experience so far has fallen well short of that expectation.

I had been looking for a smart comfortable sofa for ages and I think La Dolce is perfect. All our extensive questions were answered professionally and we really enjoyed our trip to Loaf. Liam and his team were brilliant, charming, knowledgeable and kind.

All three members of staff were absolutely brilliant, so informative and couldnt be more helpful. Store has a wonderfully welcoming feel. I’ve purchased a few items of furniture in the past and it’s gorgeous quality. Just purchased two velvet cushions this time but will be back for a mattress (so comfy) and one of the super stylish accent chairs
