We have had a fantastic experience dealing with Andrew from Loans.com.au. He was just amazing from beginning to the end. He kept in touch with us on a regular basis updating us on the progress of our application for buying an investment property. He was prompt, diligent in responding to our phone calls and e-mails.

They keep all of your data after a simple enquiry even if you decided not to go ahead and then Firstmac their parent company was hacked and all my details were on dark web. they kept the data for years! All I got is simple apology.
The information stolen from Firstmac's database includes:
• Names
• Addresses
• Phone numbers
• Email addresses
• Dates of birth

I had a really great experience with loans.com.au from start to finish. The whole process was smooth, straightforward, and much faster than I expected. Their rates were very competitive, and everything was clearly explained, so I always felt confident in what I was signing up for.
Customer service was excellent — the team was responsive, helpful, and easy to deal with. Any questions I had were answered quickly, and they kept me updated throughout the process.

All of it was outstanding!
The initial enquiry resulted in a meeting over a weekend which I was not expecting to be able to do. I quickly got a quote.
The process of uploading information is absolutely seamless thanks to the great portal.
Approval process could not be faulted.
The loan itself that was offered was substantially better than what I could have sourced from the dealer.
And to top it off a phone call from Annie to just check up tops the cake.
Just amazing all around.

It was truly great dealing with Annie. She was absolutely spot on with actions and responses. Except for the last part, just before disbursement, the delay due to Tech glitch, everything else was too good

Laura helped and guided me every step along the way until the final approval. I am very thankful for this level of support as it was my first time buying a house. It wasn't an easy process with all the documentation required and I called multiple times and I also acknowledge the professionalism of the team. One important aspect: I also had a pre-aproval from AMP but the process is significantly faster with Loans.com.au. All in all, a big thank you to everyone at Loans.com.au

When I called the first time, I spoke with Helen, who was fantastic and walked me through the entire process. There was no passing me around to different people. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend Loans.com to all my family and friends.

Wrong advise on 2 occasions resulting in loss of time, money, resources. Delay in communications, legal department missing out related party implications, advising that individual trustees were not entitle to a preapproval loan already granted forcing to create a corporate trustee. I wouldn't have even given 1 star review, that's how bad my experience was.
Absolute waste of time and energy. Two months of back and forth for nothing. It’s clear nobody actually reviewed the financial documents I submitted from the start.
I went as far as getting a contract signed on a property, only to be rejected at the final stage, despite my financial situation being exactly the same as what was provided for pre approval.
To make it worse, I then received full approval from Westpac with no issues.
I was dealing with Jessica on the admin side, while an incompetent finance team seemed to be making decisions in the background without properly assessing the file. Zero accountability, zero transparency.
I’d love to see their loan book, probably running on fumes.
Stay clear.

Terrible company to deal with! Soooooo dodgy. Look elsewhere, do not waste your time.
Terrible support & ripped off for over $6k by their Orwellian double-speak!
I'd been paying a few hundred bucks more than the minimum fortnightly payment on my mortgage for over 9 months and built up a $5,000 credit - so I sent them a 'Permanent Principle Reduction' form in order to reduce the total amount owed on my mortgage. Simple right?
Nope - what they did was INCREASE my mortgage balance by $5,000 so I owed more... then reduced it by $5k (on the same day) so the balance was... exactly the same at the end of the day as it was at the start - apart from my $5,000 credit now showing as an arrears of $1,217.
Online chat support provided no help - just contradictory nonsense that did not explain any aspect of where my money has gone, other than to say it's OK, as my minimum payment had been reduced by $31 p. fortnight.
Now I'm going to have to waste God-knows how long with an escalation to the financial services ombudsman. So much for trying to do the right thing.

The worst, tried to scam me out of $380 for a valuation that was never done, and now a DATA BREACH….AVOID!!!
