Lochieheads Country Estate - Where do I start... Myself and a group of friends stayed here for the weekend. The drive up the winding country road to be greeted by the metal gates. Behind them, a beautiful Georgian style mansion. Straight away we were in awe of the size. We were immediately taken back by the surrounding, breathtaking views across the countryside, the location is just idyllic.
The inside of the house has been finished carefully to a very luxurious standard. It is a modern, yet traditional Georgian finish, with lovely high ceilings and beautiful detailed cornicing. The little details really set this house apart from others. The numerous bedroom, en suites are very spacious with great views from all of them, but the master bedroom is spectacular. The house has everything you need, and more to have an amazing stay - from the massive kitchen diner with breakfast bar for entertaining guests whilst cooking, to the games room with the snooker table, the cosy inviting drawing room and the little bar just through the back for an evening tipple.
The gardens are stunning and very relaxing to sit and unwind and enjoy the views on a nice day.
The hosts were extremely welcoming upon arrival and couldn't do enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay.
I would recommend Lochieheads Estate to anyone looking for a luxurious, weekends stay with family or friends in Fife. I can't wait to visit again soon. This was an easy 5 stars for me!

What an unbelievable experience we had a Lochieheads House. From the moment you arrived through the big metal gates you know you are somewhere very special. The hosts were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay a phenomenal experience. It’s the attention to detail which sets this house off from any others I have previously stayed in. The rooms are spacious and all have large en suite bathrooms which are excellent. Our experience at Lochieheads House was fantastic and cannot wait to come back. Well deserved 5 star accommodation.

Lochieheads Estate..what can I say about it .....just that I want to live there permanently! Visited the estate for the day and was immediately taken in by the landscapes and countryside viewed from all around the estate house. Even on approach from the gates you know you're in for a treat .
The gardens around the house are well laid out and vast an orchard a croquet field and piece de resistance , the walled garden ....it is magical!! There are walks to be had all around the estate if you've a mind to .
Inside the house I think it has been very carefully renovated with a lovely mix of original Georgian and modern features. The drawing room is grand , warm and inviting , once you've settled in for the night you won't want to move . The bedrooms are all well laid out and each one is individually finished . There was one bedroom I was most envious of , it was a pink room I think it can be a bridal suite but anyway it's ensuite bathroom ...roll top bath with views for miles ...heaven to me ! I could go on but I would recommend anyone to come and wile away a weekend or a week away with family, I'm sure you'll be as enthralled as I was .

What an amazing house, equipped with everything you could possibly need. The little touches were greatly appreciated. The house is set in stunning surroundings with spectacular views and was perfect for our group of 12. Would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone looking for a spacious, luxurious get away in Fife.

Huge house with all en-suite rooms. Hosts are responsive and the setting is fabulous. The house has everything you need for a stay including a large kitchen, dining room and sitting room.

Our group have been friends for years, but recently have spread out across the UK and so we came together for a weekend at Lochieheads and what a stunning, and most perfect place.

The location, quality and sheer brilliance of this amazing gem cannot be expressed enough in words.

Our family stay at Lochieheads House was one of the best places we have stayed when visiting family in St.Andrews in Fife.
It presented a great opportunity for our family of 10 to get together in such a peaceful and beautiful house inside and out.
The inside was lovely and it was one of the best family breaks we have had.
Hannah the host was extremely welcoming and showed us around upon our arrival. From there on we had a fantastic 7 nights

Definitely recommend and will be coming back!
