Got a quote & was really happy until.....
Got a quote & was really happy with cover & price so went ahead & bought after reading all the details in the quote carefully.
Next day I was reading the FAQ where it said they could not cover tenants (this was contents only cover) so I immediately cancelled & bought from More Than instead but had I not seen that I could've made a claim & then been told I was not covered.
Nowhere on the quote generation did it say on contents only cover you must own the home you're living in, NOWHERE.
To me if this is a mistake it's a really horrendous one that could cost someone everything & Locket should be ashamed of themselves.

Hi Richard,
We think there's been a big misunderstanding and we're so sorry for this.
We've recently launched Contents Insurance whereby renters, or homeowners, can purchase a policy. This meant that we could, and still can, offer home insurance to tenants, as well as to those who own a property. The FAQ you happened to come across was referring to our Buildings & Contents Insurance only. We can assure you that you would have been covered if you had made a claim.
A member of our team is reaching out to you personally to clear this up and we've banished the guilty FAQ into oblivion.
We're so sorry, again, that this misunderstanding caused you to worry.
We hope that someday we can welcome you to Locket, again.

A breath of fresh air! Locket was really easy to set up, offered a better rate than I was getting elsewhere and they even personally reached out once everything was set up. Just bought home insurance
Just bought home insurance. Very straight forward and simple process at this end. Very cost effective. I suppose the true test will be if I ever need to make a claim. Let’s hope I have no cause to.
