Locks Express is a family run locksmith and upvc door repair company based in Kendal, Cumbria. We are a father and son team consisting of myself, Dean Balderstone and Alan Balderstone, my dad. We have over 40 years of combined experience in the locksmith industry, serving thousands of customers all over Cumbria and Lancashire since Locks Express was started in 2004. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and workmanship, which is why we are also part of the Trading Standards ‘Buy With Confidence’ scheme. We are the only locksmiths in the area to be Approved by Trading Standards. Over the years we've built great relationships with customers who choose to come back to us time and time again. We work for numerous holiday let companies, landlords, letting agents and estate agents in the Kendal, Lancaster and Barrow in Furness areas. We supply and fit high security locks, cylinders, mechanisms and hardware and use quality and reliable lock brands such as Union, Yale, Chubb and Mul-T-Lock. All of our work comes with a full parts and labour warranty. We cover all aspects of domestic and commercial locksmith work and cover areas such as Morecambe, Grange over Sands, Windermere and Ulverston. My front door had jammed up locking us in our home even though it was unlocked. I looked for a local company and came across Locks Express a local family run company. Dean was at my home just over an hour after my call and freed the door and replaced the mechanism. He was friendly, efficient and respected my property whilst working. A complete professional. Faulty door lock
Dean was very pleasant to deal with when I rang to enquire when he could attend to fix a faulty door lock. We quickly agreed a date & time. On the day I described the problem we had with door lock, Dean not only quickly sorted & fixed the lock but was happy to spend more time to ensure both doors were working correctly & better than they had in last few years. Saved us buying new doors I’m sure. 👍
