Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. The customer service I received in the Ealing branch was horrible there was a very rude blonde man that served me - did not smile, did not engage in any conversation and was frankly quite rude to me and used aggressive language.

Gluten free Tiramisu Opera Cake
Ordering the cake on line and service upon collection was excellent.
I ordered the gluten free Tiramisu opera cake which was well presented. In our opinion the cake was a bit dry for a Tiramisu cake. Could have been that bit moister. I know it’s not everybody’s taste but the coffee taste should have been stronger. So I give it a 7 out of 10. Also it would have been nice to have the alcohol option.

Amazing cake honestly everyone said how great it tasted and was shocked when I said it was from Lola’s and not a home baker. Soo happy with it!! Picking up the cake instore was a great experience and was great customer service all around.

Great collection, great packaging but a bit too much sponge and too little jam. I liked that cake wasn’t too sweet. Slightly drier than expected.

Staff and store were lovely
Staff and store were lovely, but honestly the cupcakes just weren’t anything special. We got 2 cupcakes and a brownie and they were both quite dry and the icing was somehow dry too and it just wasn’t worth it for the money.

I am sorry to hear your were disappointed on this occasion.
The cakes should be stored in a fridge when not being served and we recommend taking it out of the fridge for approx. 1-3 hours before serving (depending on the size) to allow them to reach back the right softness and fullness of flavour:)
