Ordered Victoria sponge cake. Came with fruits inside and on top. Actually quite a nice cake as it wasn't overly sweet, wasn't dry either. Definitely one of the better cakes from Lola.

Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

This is my first time complaining after…
This is my first time complaining after being a customer of Lola’s Cupcakes for a while, and purchasing at least 4 birthday cakes every year. The cake I ordered this time looked great, but was extremely dry and hard to eat. Also being chocolate, I expected a real rich and strong chocolate flavour but it lacked depth and taste unfortunately.

I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with your recent order, I can assure you that everything is made fresh to order but I will pass this feedback onto our bakery.
Our cakes do need to be left at room temperature for at least 2 hours before serving to give them a chance to warm up , otherwise they can appear a little hard.

I ordered the superhero cake online for my son’s birthday . The process was quick and easy to for ordering and collection and the final product was exactly as shown on the website. The cake tasted great and stayed soft for days. My son loved it! I every birthday cake from Lola’s so definitely recommend!

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Ordered a cake, mini cupcakes, brownies and cheesecake for my daughter’s second birthday. Theme afternoon tea. Spent > £100 only for the mini cup cakes not to arrive. Called customer services and delivery man went to local Lola’s cupcake store and brought. Delayed everything let alone the embarrassment.

I am sorry about the issue you experienced with your delivery.
I have had a look at the order details and can see that the cupcakes were missing from the order. It does seem that this was rectified swiftly by the driver who collected a replacement box from the local Lola's store and returned to deliver them within your 9-5 delivery window.

Yummy salted caramel cake
I ordered the salted caramel cake for my baby sprinkle and it was a hit for myself and guests. Very delicious.

Delicious gluten free and vegan cake
Thank you for offering a gluten free and vegan cake. Not only did it mean a cake that my daughter could actually eat - but it was delicious! (It was the chocolate fudge and raspberry cake.)
