I attended a self defence class at Amazon, conducted by Sam. He is an excellent instructor—knowledgeable, patient and kind. He explains techniques clearly and creates a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable and confident. I’ve learned so much from his session and would highly recommend him and the academy to anyone looking to build self defence skills and confidence.

Great techniques learned

I have attended a 2 hour workshop which was perf time to cover both theory and try self defense techniques. Well explained and super informative. I would recommend for everyone to at least try one session.

Sam hosted a fantastic session at our office, breaking down the theory and guiding us through the many non-physical ways we can protect ourselves before moving into the practical elements. He explained everything so clearly and made it easy to understand. I came away from the session feeling far more confident and really appreciative of Sam’s guidance. I’d highly recommend this session to anyone looking to feel more empowered.
