Had a four days work sounsproofing some walls and ceiling. The team was outstanding, very professional, on time and helpful providing solutions when there was unexpected events. Highly recommended

NNM Soundproofing are a fantastic soundproofing company who deliver. Back on February they significantly reduced the impact noise from the flat above mine by creating an additional soundproofed ceiling under my existing one. Following a recent water leak in my flat which caused some ceiling damage. The team came back and patched up the damage very quickly. I honestly can't recommend this company enough.

Grant was great on the initial visit. He explained options and went into detail on how different materials would dampen sound.
The guys who came to do the work were efficient & friendly.
Very pleased with the job, immediately noticed such a difference. Can now barely hear upstairs.

Really fantastic! The initial consultation was really helpful and they even managed to work around my awkward work hours by coming at the crack of dawn. The instillation went really smoothly and the guys installing were great, they were really professional and just lovely too. I am really impressed by the work they have done and the clean up they did at the end of the works. They were really helpful in helping to move large furniture.

Great experience with this company. Grant came out on a site visit and explained my options, he was also the cheapest out of all my quotes. A short while after works began, the two men were polite and professional and did a great job ( I believe one was called Aidan). They also recommended Alex who then came to do the plastering afterwards, he was also professional and very tidy so all in all a great experience and I am very happy with my soundproofing. It has definitely made a difference and lot quieter. I didn’t want to loose too much room so went for the choice of using as little space as possible and it’s made a great difference already.
I will most certainly recommend this company to friends and family for sure.

Grant explained our options and we were able to make an informed choice. The work was completed by a polite two man team who were on time, friendly and professional at all times. The work was carried out as explained with no surprises and every effort seemed to be made to do a neat job. We already notice a noticeable improvement in the noise coming through our adjoining wall. I would not hesitate to get them back if we need further soundproofing done in other areas of our property or recommend them to others.

I needed to soundproof a floor between two flats. I chose one method and then cancelled. I contacted them again and they graciously quoted for the rockwool method. They booked me in quickly and the guys worked fast. This was important as the refurb had other workmen waiting to get into that space. I found them to be efficient and the diagrams on the website are clear.

I live in a converted basement flat with a fair amount of noise from above- impact and airborne. NNM installed soundproofing in my bedroom ceiling, and it has removed all impact noise, and significantly muffled the airborne noise. Im very pleased with the result - the issues left now relate to my neighbour having a ridiculously loud deep voice and playing video games at 3Am, which I think even the best soundproofing can’t deal with! Hoping to save a bit to get more rooms done by NNM next year. Removing one star only due to how the company removed the waste into my garden, but is minor issue.

Grant and Kenny's team were fantastic and super helpful. The information they provide in their quote was really comprehensive and allowed me to understand what was going to happen. On the day they talked me through each stage to satisfy my curiosity and were highly professional and thorough, including bringing their own hoover and making sure the space was cleaned afterwards! I have used NNM Soundproofing on three separate occasions, and have been consistently impressed by their professionalism and efficiency. While getting good quality soundproofing is certainly not cheap, you do get what you pay for with this company. The team are incredibly competent and efficient: they turn up when they say they will, and do the job extremely quickly and in a manner that minimises the disruption as much as possible. However they have also been extremely considerate and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a good service. For example, we had big gaps between the floor boards and they have re-layed them close together and even found extra boards to fill the remaining gaps, so that we were not left with a big hole in the floor (which was especially appreciated at 31 weeks pregnant!). Having got different 'grades' of soundproofing in different parts of our flat, our experience is that there is quite a big difference in the effectiveness if you get the acoustic rubber layer - without this, the effects are more marginal. Unfortunately when it comes to soundproofing, it does seem like you have to fork out for the best materials to really create noise barriers. But when we have done so, the results are very good.

Positives:
Grant and his team are very friendly, punctual and easy to communicate with. They set out clear quotes for the work.

Negatives: unfortunately the end result has not provided anywhere near the expected sound reduction - they do outline they can never guarantee a certain reduction, but I do feel more guidance could be given, I feel a bit lost after spending thousands and still suffering from the noise that’s affecting me negatively.
Also I have to repaint a blue feature wall and another wall due to debris and marks left over it - again they do outline that there may be minor changes to walls but I feel more care can be taken to avoid this.

Grant and the team have been really excellent from start to finish. Grant took the time to understand our ask, recommended the best solutions without being at all pushy, and was realistic with the results it would provide. The installation team were very considerate, clean and quick. The system has made a huge difference to the ceiling in our Victorian terrace house, I would say it has reduced the noise by 80% if not more.

Brilliant service from start to finish, including responsiveness and installing the soundproofing, which we could not do ourselves. NNM Soundproofing do an in person visit and perusal, and recommend the best system based on your needs and space. Importantly, they have a dedicated team who install the system. NNM Director Grant Fraser sends his installation team, which is most helpful as they know exactly what they are working and how to do it, thus do it swiftly and without much mess. This is unlike when we looked at other companies which do not provide installation service, thus we would have had to find someone who would do it.
We had the Batten Wall system installed and our lives and privacy have immediately improved markedly. We can't hear the noise we were aiming to eliminate. We hope it also improves the neighbour's life.
I am very happy with the company and the products and would highly recommend to anyone who needs reducing or eliminating the noise coming through adjoining walls to invest into improving the walls with soundproofing, if you can lose a few centimetres/inches of the wall.

The installation was extremely courteous, professional and efficient. They treated our property with genuine care.

Best of all, despite soundproofing being a subjective endeavour, and the many contextual factors which make results hard to guarantee, I am incredibly impressed by the outcome. After about 4 weeks, I've noticed that the screaming baby on one neighbour and the constantly booming voice from the other neighbour can now not be heard at all. Our lounge room is now a place I can truly relax in, and the loss of 5cm each side is not even detectable.

Many thanks to NNM for a great service that offers genuinely high value. Soundproofing (from any provider) is not cheap due to the specialist materials, but knowing it will be properly and professionally installed is a good reason to try NNM.
