Not a great delivery service and damaged goods

Took them over two days to despatch my order and then I had to wait another 3 days for delivery. Other suppliers do much better and charge less for next day delivery. Items arrived and were different to what was ordered, They said they couldn't do anything as it was what they had been supplied!!! They then expected me to pay to return them. On closer inspection of the items I discovered that they were scratched. Only then were they prepared to pay postage to return. Used to be good, Needs looking at.

Slow on shipping out

Not a company I’d go to for fast shipping. No problem with order and there is options for faster delivery but there are other companies out there that offer same day despatch if ordered before a certain time selling the same products. Lesson learnt for when I need something quicker.

dispatch time and Shippping

Been using Longforte for years and never really had any problem with them until say the last 6 months to a year cos orders seam to be talking longer and longer to get sent out and delivered to me. Waiting on a current order that was ordered on the 8/01/26 wasn't shipped till today Thursday 15 January 2026 and wont receive items till Sat 17th Jan. standard Courier was picked and says on site is 1-2 working days dispatch. if you are needing items in good time Don't pick these ones. unless you pick express delivery you get put to the very back of the dispatch line it seams. All ORDERS they receive should go out in the order they come in NO matter what delivery option you pick.

I’d just like to clarify what happened with this particular order. It was placed at 7pm on Thursday 8 January and shipped on Wednesday 14 January by Royal Mail Economy (2–4 working days). That service is a lower-priority, non-guaranteed service and is processed after Express and courier orders, which is why it can take longer during busy periods.

This isn’t about putting anyone “to the back of the line” — it’s simply how different courier services are handled to ensure customers who have paid for faster delivery receive what they’ve paid for.

That said, we completely understand the frustration when you’re waiting for stock, and we’re sorry this order felt slower than what you’re used to. If you ever need something by a specific date, our Express DHL option is a next-day delivery option which is always prioritised and is much more reliable for time-critical jobs.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!

If I could rate 0 I would - the quality of the items is exceptionally poor and not at all like the photos online. Do not buy boxed items (dominos, cards etc) as the boxes are not made correctly, and lids do not fit. Returns policy and timescales is shocking!! First time I have seen a deduction of 20% return price for 'restocking'!

We’re sorry to see this review and would like to clarify the situation for anyone reading.

After this order was delivered, the customer contacted us to raise concerns about the products. As with any quality-related query, we replied just over an hour after we received her first email, where we politely asked for photos so we could assess the issue and resolve it properly. Unfortunately, we did not receive any images or further information from the customer, which meant we were unable to investigate or offer a replacement or refund. Instead we have just received this 1 star review from them.

Regarding the returns policy, the reference to a 20% restocking fee relates to a standard commercial clause that applies only if returned items are not received in original, resellable condition or in their original packaging. This is clearly set out in our terms and is designed to protect against loss where goods cannot be resold. In practice, it is rarely applied when items are returned correctly.

We take product quality and customer satisfaction very seriously and always work with customers to resolve issues when they engage with us. We remain happy to help if the customer would like to provide the information we originally requested.

Customer service is terrible

Customer service is terrible. Products arrived damaged. They said they would replace without any delay to me. 3 working days later I have to contact again as there was no update and no products.

***update. The reply to the review I made a few hours ago states they replaced the items- they did not. They still had not replied to my emails. So priority is writing a reply pretending the dealt with the matter when they did not and have not which is exactly why I asked for a refund yesterday. ***

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way. For clarity, this is what happened.

Your order was originally placed on our Economy service. After you contacted us to say it was urgent, we upgraded the delivery to a courier service at no extra cost as a goodwill gesture - and you confirmed in your email that you were happy with this.

Unfortunately, the parcel was damaged in transit. As you noted to us, the outside of the box was visibly damaged on arrival, which can occasionally happen with any carrier despite careful packing.

As soon as you reported the issue, we arranged replacements. These were processed as quickly as possible, however during peak periods we do have to dispatch paid Express orders first to remain fair to customers who have paid for priority fulfilment.

We always take transit damage seriously and we do replace affected items - and that’s exactly what we’ve done here. If you need any further assistance, please contact us directly and we’ll be happy to help.

Very disappointed in longforte

Very disappointed in the service provided by longforte and their customer service. They originally dispatched the wrong item and despite it being their mistake they still haven’t sent the correct product, a week later. I was told it was because they had to prioritise other orders and deliveries before mine!!!
I let them know I needed it urgently to fulfil orders for my business but that was ignored. Very poor.

Your original order was dispatched correctly and delivered on time. After delivery, you contacted us to say that the item received was not what you expected. We immediately investigated this internally and we arranged the return and collection of the incorrect item at our cost and a resend was requested.

At the time of your request, our warehouse was processing a very high volume of orders following the Christmas and New Year period, including a large number of express shipments. As explained to you, we were not able to move a non-express replacement ahead of customers who had paid for priority services, but we did schedule it for dispatch as quickly as possible within our standard fulfilment flow.

We fully understand that you were working to a deadline, which is why we offered you the option to cancel for a full refund if the replacement timing did not meet your needs. That option remained available.

We take responsibility for resolving issues when they arise, but we also have to operate fairly and consistently for all customers, particularly those who have paid for express delivery.

If you would still like us to assist, our team is always happy to help - please contact us directly and we will review this with you again.
