Fish i received are excellent. Been dealing with them for years and never had any issues. Always happy to help and offer the best koi around

We were sucked in by the low prices and there is a reason they can sell Koi so cheaply and that’s because I suspect they buy from wholesalers so the fish could come from anywhere and not bio secure. Our story was we were sucked in with the prices as above, and fair play the fish were delivered as promised, well packaged and quite impressed to this point, we quarantined for 2 weeks at 24deg, no signs of any problems so the fish released into the main pond, and what a mistake, almost within hours of the new fish going in there were signs of irritation on the other fish which got worse over the following days, I changed the cartridges in my purifier, I upgrade filtration, checked the parameters and did multiple scrapes on multiple fish showing nothing, had no idea what was going on so treated for a general parasite even though I couldn’t see anything on the scrapes. We then found one of the new Koi dead, on inspection the bottom of his mouth totally rotted away, obviously some secondary bacterial issue from a primary cause! By this time I am worried, scrapes not showing anything, parameters fine so what was wrong? I started another parasite treatment incase I was missing something on the scrapes, I then found out about a book just released in English with a translation from Dutch and what an eye opener, picked up on gill flukes and all the symptoms matched, it guided me to scrape behind the gills and guess what, large as life gill flukes! There could be an argument against them being introduced from the new fish but really! New Koi dead a month after delivery with a rotten mouth, this we now knew had been caused by damage from gill flukes then a secondary infection to follow causing rot from the inside out, we didn’t see it on inspection as it was then within the gills and of course taking the quarantine temp up just fed the infection.
Net result 5 out of 6 fish I scraped yesterday had gill flukes, one of our oldest Koi some 25 years old suffering quite badly unlikely to survive through further treatment. Due to general parasite treatment being used I now can’t treat with a correct treatment for flukes for min of 10 days.
My point after all that is, this supplier sells non bio secure fish, has caused me a lot of grief and upset which isn’t over yet, that’s the only reason they can sell so cheap, if you buy from a reputable dealer then they will cost more short term but my lesson has been learnt, and of course if the fish are not disease free there is KHV to consider, we are lucky otherwise that’s the whole pond gone, years of taking care of Koi and innocent creatures so dependent on us for so long wiped out by someone selling cheap and diseased fish for a few quid.. As above I have learnt my lesson and got away relatively lightly, it could have been worse, don’t be tempted by the price as I was, spend a few more quid and buy from a reputable dealer. Writing this review it asks at the start “what could the company do differently” my answer would be, this company won’t do anything differently so long as people are still buying cheap Koi, go to a reputable dealer or ask for evidence of origin or bio security and would put money on your emails being ignored. Please don’t be sucked in with cheap Koi, it isn’t worth it in the long run.

I bought 10 4" mixed koi to replenish following a winter of Heron issues. The fish were barely 4" in size and generally cheaper varieties. The packaging was poor - a box that was too big , double bagged but the outer bag was split. They arrived around 4:15pm and had I assume been travelling overnight. The fish were stressed and losses are running at 30%. For a few extra pounds I could have bought larger, better quality fish locally but one lives and learns.

After around 15 years of buying my koi carp from this company, I have purchased around 20 fish from them.

Very dodgy guys sold me koicarp 3 times with a odd fish that were seriously ill I think it was sfv or carp herpes.Shores and infection that you couldn't stop with any meds.I think they were putting 2 fish in bag out of 30 hoping you wouldn't notice killed all my fish twice.Also use name discount product uk on ebay same story dodgy fish.when you put a carp with herpes in a bag and send them overnight the rest of Carp don't stand a chance and these guys know this and don't care they get to sell you more fish if you are clueless or don't notice very shamefull and I would not buy from them they should stick to selling compost
