Extremely poor performance. Paid a monthly charge just to try things out. Only 1 scene succeeded, thereafter that all credits were gone and had to buy again. Which I didn't obviously. This is a pure scam, stay away from Lune.ai

stay away, find another program to make AI videos, I paid 30 dollars for plus subscription (this is what it costs per month), got 10,000 credits, made a 5 minute video and it ate all 10,000 credits + more, had to pay another 10 dollars to finish the video. the video turned out bad, the quality sucked, grainy.
just a scam. sent a complaint to them, got a message from them that the video was finished so then I didn't get anything back, so obviously normal that a 5 minute video costs over 30 dollars to make.

It's a waste of time and money.

Each fix is ​​worse than the last. Washing machine: the simplest scene. A 5-second video is all it takes.

First, I request: the machine is running, the drum is spinning, water is leaking from the bottom. Second attempt: the drum isn't spinning. Third attempt: water is leaking directly through the door glass. Each updated frame has an increasingly pronounced magenta tint. I request that the logo dimensions be preserved: in vain, the logo is once again twice its original size. I request that the product location be fixed: no one listens, and at the end of the video, the product unexpectedly lifts itself up. Every new frame or video brings its own set of surprises. I've spent thousands of credits on this scene and I have nothing usable.

I subscribed to Luma AI to create a video. Almost every time I gave the tool instructions, it introduced new, unrequested bugs into the production instead of applying the changes I asked for. I'd then have to spend more credits and more time just fixing problems the software itself created — not because I'd changed my mind or asked for extra work.

By the time I gave up, I'd burned through 7,261 of my 10,000 credits and still didn't have a single usable, downloadable output. I asked for a refund, explained exactly what had happened, and offered Luma full visibility into my project so they could see every instruction and every bug for themselves.

Support took over a day to reply, and instead of addressing the refund, asked me to fill out a troubleshooting form. When I pushed back, they refused the refund outright — citing a policy that refunds only apply to "unused or mostly unused" plans, and pointing to the same credit count that had been burned fixing their bugs, not producing anything I could use.

In my experience, charging customers for credits their own product's defects consumed, then hiding behind a "credits used" policy to deny a refund, is deceptive. If this is standard practice at Luma, I believe they are knowingly selling a product that isn't fit for purpose and pocketing the difference when it breaks. I've since had to pursue a chargeback with my bank because I was simply stonewalled.

I run a business myself and would never treat a customer this way. Steer clear until they fix both the product and how they handle refunds.

My experience has been negative. I paid for a service that does not function as expected. The AI output is largely incorrect and often enters loops, repeating the same result while still consuming credits.

I contacted support and received a response only after several weeks. The reply requested extensive additional information and feedback, effectively requiring significant unpaid effort on my part.

At one point, even the AI system itself indicated it could not complete the task correctly, yet credits were still deducted. This is not acceptable.
