Bought an expensive lamp 8 months ago. It is staring to crack at the top. This is obviously a product defect.The lamp has not been moved and there are no children in the house. We sent them pictures and they said it was damaged. This attitude is a reflection of a company that, knows the quality is poor, but will not do anything about it. Never again and we will have to check Trustpilot from now on.

No help at all

I emailed about our tea pot and how the entire inside is rusted. They gave me the directions on how to use it again and offered me a 20% discount to buy another item. The quantity is awful. Why would I buy more ?

I grew up with the original artists…

I grew up with the original artists that made this brand. Victoria Macenzie-Childs just died in poverty because of them, they stole even the artist's names, along with their home and designs and MORE. Disgusting company!!!!

Do not recommend buying directly

Do not recommend buying directly. Purchased a cart and it came damaged. They would not send a replacement. I have to rebuy it . Would not facilitate a pick up or help with a box. This item is very large. They are not helpful!!! Beware

They don’t respond!!!

I ordered 3 courtly check lights for my kitchen island. Was sent 3 fixtures that don’t match. Its been over a month and no response from there customer service to fix the problem. Considering the high cost it’s unacceptable. I’m stuck with unusable items. And there is no way to talk to anyone!!!! They only use email. Don’t waste your money!!

Lost me as customer

The product was not as expected as it looked damaged with scuff marks and random color streaks. All 6 pieces had the flaws but one. They told me it was not defective and would not refund.

Told me sale was final. When I showed them proof it was not final sale, suddenly the website showed final sale.

To make matters worse, they lowered the price the day I received my order. So I asked them to at least reduce the price since they would not let me return it and they basically told me to go pound sound absolute horrible customer service they have lost me as a customer for good

Do not buy their knobs

Do not buy their knobs. I replaced all my kitchen knobs and spent well over $800 doing so. Within 2 years the paint started wearing off all the knobs. They refuse to give me touch up paint and will not swap out. I’ve had cheap knobs purchase at Home Depot that hold up better than these.

-0 It would be Negative Zero if I had the option. Absolutely the worst. Products all made in China with designer pricing and customer service that would put 7 Eleven to shame. Bought the new Electric Tea Kettle, Cheap Flimsy Plastic. Bought the 3 Ceramic Mixing Bowl Set, Middle bowl has a crack all the through and around. They refuse to do anything. I hope they go Bankrupt, they should. I can’t see how they’re still open.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I bought online 2 Gingerbread Cookie Trees (one large and one small). The large one was like expected but unfortunately the small one doesn't have definitively the quality of the big one. The small one had no contrast between the "gingerbread cookie" and the "ice sugar". So, I ask them for an exchange and after asking me pictures they reply "Thank you for providing the photos. Our products are made from a few different vendors and therefore all will vary in coloration. The uniqueness of the products and variations is one of the things we love most about our brand". They don't have a serious quality service or no quality service at all and they explain to you when you don't have what you ordered that it is NORMAL! But SORRY when you buy something you WANT to have exactly what you see! So, they didn't accept an exchange, they didn't offer a free return! And they wrote "The only way to guarantee you get products that match your liking in the future would be to hand pick them at a retail location"!?!?!? Can you imagine a company with less concern about online costumers? The products come from China with China quality.....

First time ordering through McKenzie…


First time ordering through McKenzie Childs had a horrible experience they sent me the wrong item so naturally, I tried to call them rectify it. Unheard of that accompany of this high-end product does not have a customer service number. After going through hoops and tracking down a number, you call that number and get redirected to an email. Finally spoke with the representative. She said that she would send the return label to send back the wrong item and send the right one neither of which has been done then I go on the circle again of trying to call someone to get this resolved .

I ordered an over $500 stuff online at end of Nov 2025.
So far , I have not received any items and had been notified by ups of one delivery in Dec 19 , 2025. Not sure where are others?
The online web site is not able to show any update!
I emailed the customer service but was told it’s being shipped?
I have never ordered from a web site with such a poor communication, worse service, and delayed order!
I will never order from this website again site again and basically just boy cut this product!
There is other stuff out there better than this one!
I did not check review thinking it’s a reputable product but something is very wrong with this company!
After I emailed , I still do not received any responses yet????
What a mistake!
I guess I can call credit card to dispute and never order it again !

I am surprise with a reputable company will have such lousy services!!!

Fake Mackenzie-Childs products

This is NOT the real MACKENZIE-CHILDS, this company has copied all the real Mackenzie-childs items (just like China does with every quality product) I ordered a piece, knowing it wasn’t the real thing, to check it out and it has been 3 months and still hasn’t arrived. I have emailed the “company” several times and heard nothing. I don’t know how can they get away stealing people like this...

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. After spending thousands of dollars in product, I finally came to the conclusion that despite the hefty prices of their products, the workmanship and quality lacks severely. Several items came unglued in a very short period of time. The table runners have a piece of fabric glued to the bottom and it easily came unglued. The two topiary I bought simply fell apart. The flower in the pot keeps falling down because the narrow bottom of the pot is so small that it does not carry the weight of the flower. The expensive tea cups get so hot that you can not handle it without burning yourself due to the metal material they use. Should I go on?

Disappointing

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered products that were marked as “delivered,” but no package ever arrived. I immediately escalated the issue because I have international travel on 10/18 and needed the items as a gift that was specifically requested.

Unfortunately, customer service repeatedly told me the same scripted response—that they must wait for the UPS investigation to finish, which can take up to 8 days. That timeline simply doesn’t work for my situation, yet no one offered any alternative solutions such as resending or expediting a replacement.

I expected much more from a company that presents itself as a premium brand. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, and it’s made me rethink ever ordering from them again.
