My son really enjoyed learning with his friends. He also accessed maths in a fun way such as code breaking which made a tricky subject cool 😎
Both of my children really enjoyed Magical Maths. The sessions were fun and engaging, and they always came home happy and excited to share what they had learned. A lovely club — highly recommended.

Unfortunately my daughter didn't enjoy…
Unfortunately my daughter didn't enjoy magical maths as she found it too noisy and chaotic so couldn't often follow what was going on. The organiser emailed me twice to check on how she was enjoying it which was nice .... Except both times when I raised the above issue, it was ignored and nothing was replied or changed

Unfortunately in the larger classes the noise levels can get a bit louder than what children are typically used to in a classroom environment (especially with all of the excitement going on) and we're sorry to hear that this made it difficult for your daughter to follow along. When we return we will review the numbers in each classroom to ensure every child gets the most out of the sessions! Yours mathemagically

My daughter loved magical maths
My daughter loved magical maths, she found learning maths was actually fun, she loved the different themes and we have noticed her confidence has improved. If available next year we will definitely enrol her again!

Excellent Course
Our 9 year old really enjoyed the course and came out each week super enthused with all the topics he had covered. He is advanced in maths for his age and we initially thought it the course would not keep his interest but he was absolutely delighted with his experience. Highly recommend Magic Maths. We loved it.

Brilliant club
Both my children have attended Magical Maths and both have loved it. The activities are fun and engaging and both come home each week excited to tell us what they've done. A great club and lovely to see one making Maths fun and sparking a real love of number.

Great class. Very enjoyable. Could be more challenging.
My son attends this class after school, and he loves it. He always comes home and tricks us and his grandparents with some calculation on Facetime.
My son is in year 3 and is quite good at maths. He says it doesn't really challenge him enough. I appreciate it is supposed to be fun and inclusive, so I guess that isn't an issue.
Perhaps they could think about some more difficult tasks for the kids who need to be challenged a bit more.
Apart from that, no complaints from my 8 year old son.

We are currently developing substitute activities for early years children who may struggle with the KS1 content, so we will look into creating more advanced materials for KS2 children who are more confident with their maths like your son! Magical Maths after-school club
My children enjoyed this experience greatly. The delivery of the sessions was fun with play included where the learning happens! My little one particularly enjoyed "reading people's minds" the eldest enjoyed the "hacks" that made complex sums easier.

Brillient classes
My daughter loved these classes. She always wanted it to be wednesday. She has struggled abit with maths but this has definatly made her more interested in maths and more confident with it.
