I completed the 200 hour course and throughly enjoyed it and highly recommend. Yoga asana practice was very thorough and rigorous and everyone loved the teachers; they really know what they are doing and I feel they are best yoga teachers I’ve ever had. There is so much more to the course though. Every class throughout the course continued to deepen my curiosity, interest and knowledge in the various ‘limbs’ of yoga. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to learn with also which enhanced the experience. We were all kept informed and on point throughout and encouraged to do our best so we get the best out of the teaching. The environment was very conducive to learning also with dedicated and friendly staff and teachers. We were all looking out for one another but simultaneously encouraged to be independent and focus on number one to get the best experience for you. My room was comfortable and facilities were fine. I loved the food and canteen arrangement. I’m certain you will definitely learn a lot of practical knowledge that you can carry forward into your professional and personal life as well as learn a lot about yourself and the world we live in and it will reinforce your resolve to become a more healthy, open and positive person in general. So many nice memories. The location is totally authentic and this alone has its own story but as for learning what real yoga is you can’t go wrong here. Everyone on the course were genuinely delighted to have had this experience.

I completed a 200h training in April 2025 at Maharishi Yoga Peeth and I couldn't be happier of having had this experience with them. Every single person in the school from the Director to the teachers and all the staffs members were beautiful, kind, helpful, wise and amazing. Completing my 100-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Maharishi Yoga Peeth was a truly transformative experience. Coming from a sedentary corporate lifestyle, this break was exactly what I needed to reset—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

The teachers were exceptional—deeply knowledgeable and supportive, making complex concepts accessible and meaningful. The staff was warm and attentive, and the facilities were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. Practicing in the yoga hall overlooking the Ganga River was an unforgettable highlight, offering serenity and inspiration every day.

I studied here for a one week course in Yin yoga having completed YTT 200 & 300 at other schools in India the past. Every element of the experience was excellent, but two very important aspects are worth a mention:

1. The teachers are outstanding with literally thousands of hours on the teaching clock. I found that even the most challenging aspects of the program were easy to absord. Overall, the teaching was delivered with genuine care, devotion and professionalism.
2. The new venue of the school is a beautifully restored historic spiritual building right on the banks of the Ganges, with a stunning yoga hall (looking straight out on the Ganges) and some of the highest standard accommodation you are going to find in Rishikesh.

I took the Sound Healing course, as well as other yogic teachings such as Darshan, Ayurveda, Meditation, and Pranayama. All of my teachers were wise and beautiful souls.
The staff who keep the yoga school running were just as wise and beautiful. They are always happy to help with any of my needs.
The food was nourishing Sattvic food prepared with love by the two kind men in the kitchen.
My room was clean and bright.
The little garden was well cared for.

From the beginning of answering my questions to the ideal centrally located clean and comfortable accommodations, the delicious food, the friendly staff that were proud and eager to act as ambassadors to Rishikesh, always feeling safe as I strolled through the streets (as a sole female traveller, this is a must) , but above all the exceptional Yoga Teachers.
