Unusable due to bugs, and rude founder!
Makeforms is one of the buggiest software tools I've ever used. Customer support is rude and unhelpful.
I was sold a "lifetime deal" to their tool, meaning that I paid a very large amount up front instead of paying an ongoing monthly fee. Since there's no more money to earn from me, the founder is rude to me in the customer service bubble, and doesn't seem to have any interest in helping me. Support can take 4-5 days to reply, and if I say "hello?" after there's been no response in the chat, the founder will say "chill" to me when he finally returns to his desk. Very aggravating. Unfortunately I'm stuck with the tool, as the founder refused to refund me since I asked for a refund just 2-3 days outside the return window.
I've had the tool for months now, but still cannot get a basic approval workflow working, with so many bugs. When I say bugs, I mean things like, if you click a button in the software, a wheel spins forever. Or if you try to publish a form, the button will be gray and won't let you click it. Things like that that prevent the software from even functioning.
My plan to offer my own marketing clients their own workspace as sub-accounts within my plan, cannot possibly take place until all these bugs are fixed, and the founder has a major, permanent attitude change. Perhaps that would cause me to update my review and rating here.
