It was a pleasure being taught by Avi Gutman from Toronto. Avi instills confidence in his students through a robust and strategic curriculum delivered with patience, diligence, and kindness. Highly recommend for anyone who needs help getting over the 700 hump and learning how to truly beat the GMAT.

Manhattan Prep designed a great weekly homework system that makes me feel that I have a great study plan. The instructor in class really tries to make sure every student understand the solutions and the thought process and is very eager to answer any questions students have in homework or other practices. However, I feel like we focus a little too much in math in class and It will be nice if we can spend more time on verbal in class as well because usually we spend 2 hours in quant and less than 1 hour in verbal.

I wanted to take my GMAT right from the get-go so I signed up for the class without ever having seen a GMAT question. Having finished the class, I truly believe that it was the right move. I may not have shortened my study time at all, but I have definitely narrowed in on my areas of weakness and identified how to improve my score much quicker than I would have on my own. The curriculum is well-designed and the teacher was awesome!

I had an amazing in-class experience with Mark Sullivan from Manhattan Prep. He was a very compelling instructor and was really enthusiastic about helping me and my peers prepare for test day. I am stoked to see how I perform as I keep my independent studying going over the next couple weeks. I know I will be very prepared to take it on.

Overall really good course,
I truly believe that Manhattan prep has the best prep books available. also, the way that the course is scheduled and organized is great, especially the supplementary material such as the Explanations for OG questions, the Mobile App and the interactive parts, are all made to help get the most of your studying.
And perhaps one of the most important things if not the most important was my instructor Ryan McGorman, whom I really enjoyed studying at. The way he teaches and his patience with all students, staying long after the class was really helpful!

The only thing that I would have appreciated is having more classes, I think 9 classes overall Is a bit short, having 12 classes (when 3 of those would have been twice a week) would have made a bit more sense.

As someone who has struggled with text anxiety since I was a teenager, I was apprehensive to taking this course let alone this test. MP absolutely blew me away. Not only did they help me understand the scope and pace of the test but they made enjoy studying for it. My instructor Jeff may be one of the best teachers I’ve ever had and this course has given me so much confidence I thought I would never have. I recommend this course to anyone.

I took the in-person 9 week course with Dave Mahler. I highly recommend the course and Dave Mahler is a great instructor. My score went from an initial 640 mock exam up to 700 in my first attempt following the class. After a post exam assessment session with Dave, my score improved to 770 in 3 weeks.

I have a demanding work schedule. My plan to study GMAT is to find the most efficient and effective way and get the exam done as soon as possible. Manhattan Prep 9-week in-person course fits this criteria very well. It is an in-person classroom environment with a positive and encouraging vibe. The books are very well-written. The online portal and interact online courses are easy to navigate.

Dave is such an effective teacher, and even though Manhattan GMAT came well reviewed, Dave exceeded my expectations as a teacher. I remember once a student mentioned that she did 100+ SC questions at once during on a plane. Dave immediately said this was a bad idea and explained why just jamming questions without reviewing answer choices wouldn’t help.

He was responsive via email, was willing to meet with students before and after class. He shared with us via email after class a unique flash card method to help us memorize key concept. That has been very help throughout my preparation.

In the middle of the 9 week course, I reached out to Dave and expressed my concern on Verbal, in particularly SC. Dave looked into my situation and suggested me to practice pattern recognition. After my first attempt, we looked at the ESR together, he suggested me to focus on the logic on Analysis/Critique type of questions. Those are just some examples of tips and suggestions Dave has given to me during and after the course. They have been very helpful.

Manhattan Prep in-person course + excellent instructor- Dave Mahler is the formula to success on GMAT!

Interactive modules very helpful

Great GMAT prep course! From instructor to materials, Manhattan Prep is hands down the best.

I took both the in-person 9 week course as well as a few supplemental in-person tutoring sessions with Dave Mahler (instructor for both).

The course was a great introduction to the proper approach to each section and topic matters as well as best practices. The books are well-written and there is a wide range of basic through advanced material for everyone. Dave did a great job managing students' different levels of comfort with each topic and is a very engaging teacher. He cuts through a lot of the BS and makes sure that his students are focusing their time on the most important topics. Dave was also generous with his time, both before and after class as well as offering to answer one off questions or review practice test scores with all his students via email. My score went from an initial 660 up to 700 following the class when I had to take some time off from studying due to work commitments.

I engaged Dave for some top-up tutoring a few weeks later and he helped me diagnose a few key process areas that were deflating my score as well as teaching me new techniques to help with problematic content areas. He was also great about providing tailored follow-up problems that helped reinforce the areas covered each session for extra practice. Following a few one on one sessions with him I was able to bump my score to 740 and couldn't be happier with my decision to use MGMAT for my prep.

From the instructors to the online portal for tracking assignments and all of the excellent content, Manhattan Prep definitely went the extra mile to help its students succeed.

I had a great experience with the Manhattan Prep Nine-week In-person Course. It gives plenty of instruction on basic concepts that are necessary to know and provides a lot of practice problems and exams to focus on exam-day questions.
