Awesome sound and solid product

Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

We are still learning how to play this amazing instrument, so I can't write a lengthy review, however I can comment on it's build and sounds.... The Cajon is finished beautifully, and appears to be incredibly well made. Its enhanced capabilities as an Electronic instrument are not obvious, with the switches and knobs discretely positioned. It is not even obvious that the aperture on the front panel contains a small speaker... The El Cajon is incredibly versatile, it can be played as an acoustic Cajon, or with the push of a Button, and a the tweak of a volume knob you have access to 30 (I think) rich and natural sounding percussion tones to layer onto the acoustic playing. The available electronic sounds available vary from different styles of Cajon, regular drums, or SFX section , which contains some fun sounds. There are two different trigger areas on the Cajon and the sensitivity and response can be adjusted to provide expressive playing. As I said, we are still learning how to play, but with the electronic layering of sounds, we have great fun, and this remarkable Roland instrument is flattering our early Cajon playing. As a Keys and Synth player I've been a huge fan of Roland for years, and the EC10 El Cajon doesn't disappoint. I just wish they would get better at putting together a handbook or manual :)
