Manston Mobility Avis 

After a mile or so my mobility scooter was cutting out.

Manston Mobility who seem to be part of Lifestyle Mobility, quoted £45 call out & £80 an hour for fault finding.

They collected it, then took 7 days before looking at it.

The next day they told me they had found the fault (a loose pin) & repaired it. They told me that they had tested the scooter & it was now working properly, however they couldn’t get it back to me as their van’s clutch had gone.

Two days later they returned the scooter & took payment before taking it off their van.

I gave it a test run & it cut out just as before.

Manston Mobility have been paid £125 for collecting the scooter NOT finding or repairing the fault & returning it.

Over the phone I was given the option of paying them to replace the controller, for which they would charge over £500 or an £80 discount on a reconditioned scooter.

I suspect that if I paid them to replace the controller, I would be in the same position in another 2 weeks, as they really haven’t a clue what is wrong with the scooter.

What a great company Steve and his team are fantastic. On every occasion I have used their services I have found them to meet my needs completely.

What a find, came to the Toby Carvery for lunch and noted it was just popped in just really lovely family business with super friendly and helpful staff. Other mobility centres are always up selling but not here, they listen and advise and the soft sell seems to work better with older people or people’s buying things for their elderly parents.
I purchased a pair of new lighter batteries for my old scooter they were so helpful. The battery works brilliantly giving me so much greater range, the older Lead Acid batteries weighed a ton together but the new Lithium Ion Phosphate ones weigh next to nothing!
The previous battery only gave me 2 hours range the new ones give me around 6 hours as long as I’m not using full power.
I came back again because I’d ordered an amp metre to give me an accurate reading as to how much range I had left. Most people who use these scooters only use them once a week but I operate tours around Canterbury and need it every day. I am very impressed with the team and tell everyone I see they are the best place to go! They also have a fantastic range of beds and chairs to look at! All in all a brilliant find and super service.

Called Manston on 18/07/22 am & ordered spares for an Atto Freedom that had been damaged or missing.
These were quickly identified & ordered & arrived next day well packaged before 12pm.
Can't fault the service or costs for parts or delivery.

I recently needed to put my scooter in for repair as the front light had been damaged. I really rely on this and dreaded being without for a long period of time.
However, Manston Mobility were amazing. They came out immediately to assess the damage, they fitted it in quickly and returned it to me as good as new.
They were all really kind, helpful and really made it all so easy for me.
Genuinely honest, helpful guys and a company I would recommend to everyone. Top rate quality service and I will definitely be using them again. Thank you all you have done.

A few days before Christmas I needed to take our wheelchair to Manston Mobility as we had accidentally damaged it and thought we would need to purchase a replacement part. I was quickly assured that the problem could be solved and no replacement parts would be necessary. About 40 minutes later I returned to collect the wheelchair now back in full operating order and as good as new. As always, excellent service carried out with a reassuring smile and we cannot recommend Manston Mobility more highly. Thank you.

I booked my powerchair in to be serviced and all was carried out smoothly. A short while later the chair broke down. Steven and his team were incredibly thorough in investigating the fault and went over and above in terms of trying to make sure that I remained mobile. I can't recommend them highly enough.
