Mara Seaweed Avis 

This is an delicious but expensive product. The website shop offers buying the product in either at 30 gram pouch of 120 gram tub. It does not state whether this is gross or net. I bought the tub as it seems like better value but actually the plastic tub is half empty and weighs a lot more than the pouch so it is not very good value in comparison. I was also told that if I gave my email address I would get free postage on my order. I did so but received no email with a code to give me free postage so all in all I don't think I would be repeating this order.

Very delicious seaweed with recipes, so ready to use.

To be honest I have only just started using it, I did expect the tub it came in to be more than half full.

Amazingly quick delivery of my items! Mara seaweed is delicious.

I bought more Kombu flakes and powder for it's nutritional value, in particular Iodine. I will also be back to purchase some Shony as I hadn't realised just how much calcium it has per teaspoonful. It's much better to supplement with real food in my opinion and the Mara seaweeds deliver a whole heap of nutritional goodies that actually taste nice - even my children will eat it.

Seaweed always arrives quickly, and perfectly packed. The company thoughtfully enclose cooking suggestions, so useful. Seaweed is so good for us all and this is a perfect way to eat it. So convenient too. Would definitely recommend Mara Seaweed.

I was wanting to order the 120 gm tubs of Shony on Amazon but I couldn't find that size. Just wondering if there was any reason not to do this size?

I am very excited to receive my order from Mara Seaweed. The ordering process was easy and I received an email indicating when my shipment will be arriving. I tasted Mara Seaweed (a small package) when I received my Blue Apron menu/food. I loved the taste of the Mara Seaweed and ordered more for my kitchen and other products. I am so excited to get them. I have been trying to find Dolce and they had it, this is great.

I read about Mara Seaweed in a Coast magazine and thought I would like to try some. Making my choice, placing my order and then receiving my seaweed was seamless.
I am thoroughly enjoying the taste and have tried some of the suggestions in the little recipe booklet already.Oat cakes with soft cheese, Mara seaweed sprinkled on top, divine.
I am keen to use this product for two reasons, taste, of course but also as I have a borderline under active thyroid and I would like to help myself naturally rather than take medication.

I was delighted to receive a selection of Mara Seaweed & the Seaweed Cookbook as a gift. I'm an adventurous cook living on the Isle of Skye and have always been curious about cooking / eating with seaweeds.
Something I would value is a little more support (accompanying the packaging of the seaweeds) about which meats / vegetables / foods the seaweeds go well with. I'm experimenting, and not all combinations work for me.
I know flavours are subjective, and the book gives some guidance, but I think the packaging needs to include more guidance if you want people to buy your products a second time!
