Most of the zippers break after just one use, and when you try to contact the company, they either don’t respond or claim the order didn’t come from them. The customer service is frustratingly unhelpful and unprofessional.

False claims of full refund
My wife purchased a bag from them for my birthday. I found a different one that would meet more of my needs and so she went to return this one. On their site, they have badges indicating a full refund will be issued if returned in perfect condition within 30 days, but hidden in their site, is a stipulation that whatever their original shipping cost was will not be refunded. They should not falsely be advertising that a full refund will be issued knowing full well that they will deduct roughly 10% for shipping costs. The bag itself seems okay, but the lack of response to her numerous follow ups regarding the refund were quite frustrating. Service is definitely an issue with this company, which is a shame. For the prices they are charging, you would expect a higher level of customer service.
Update:
We purchased from the Mark Ryden Canada site. My comment about the return is that we did not get full money back. On the site it says whatever shipping costs were incurred in the first place would not be refunded. If this is a distributor of yours, then you should think twice about them using the name Mark Ryden in their website url.

Secondly, our official website indicates 14 days refund, so please check if you are shopping on our website (markrydenglobal.com is the only official markryden site, the rest are our distributors)

If your order number is #1585, then your order was placed on 12 June 2024, we checked your order history, You using a visa card through Shopify Payments, our website is built on the shopify platform and the billing system is through Shopify Payments via Stripe, which I believe has a secure billing system.
If you check the latest one-star review like yours you'll know that: If our system detects a risky order, we won't ship it, we'll try to contact the cardholder, and we'll refund a portion of the amount to be used to verify that if the card is attributed to the person who placed the order!
Some people don't understand this, but we will keep doing it!
Because protecting the safety of the cardholder's funds is also protecting the safety of our customers' funds!
So I hope you, as an adult, think before you make any ‘judgement’.

Backpack looks nice, but I think its not leather as its written. It comes from China with chinese labels and the quality of package is very poor. The top of the bag is dented.

After our check, you placed an order on 4 August 2024, then we found out that your order was at risk of fraud and it was a high risk order, we chose to refund part of the amount in order to protect the cardholder's money to be used as a way to verify that the person holds the card.
You responded to us on August 10, 2024 and we verified it on August 10, 2024 and shipped it immediately!
Now the latest status of your order: your order has been cleared by EU Customs and sent to the next stage of processing!

Don’t trust them one bit
Don’t trust them one bit. This person “Adam” that says to email them, but they never respond to emails. I ordered on June 22nd. Their website claims that all orders are proceeded and shipped with 24-48 hours and that a tracking number will be provided. On June 30th, I wrote requesting an update, no response. On July 2nd, I sent another request for an update on my order, no response. On July 4th, I received an email with my tracking information and was told it could be “several weeks” for final delivery. They totally suck. They have no idea on how to run an effective global retail brand. Keep shopping, not worth the headache. I can buy a $100 worth of laundry detergent and get it on time and overnight, but I can’t get a $100 leather bag? Seems rather 1940ish, maybe they are still using horse and carriage?
Hilarious.. their response speaks volumes about their service. I posted my comment almost a month ago and they just responded. No more words required. Actions speak louder. And yes, as an adult, I know how things work. I was told that my order was through one of their suppliers. They said that they would escalate the issue with their supplier. It didn’t change a thing.
When the bags finally showed up, I was impressed by the quality though.

Ten eerste duurde het extreem lang die levering. Ten 2e op ali express verkopen ze het voor nog geen 40 euro. Zending kwam ook uit China
Als laatste, ik heb een rugzak gekocht waarvan ze zeggen dat het uitgebreid kon worden, maw extra opbergruimte( van 2 naar 3 aparte opbergruimtes)maar die is ver te
zoeken. Nergens een extra ruimte te vinden.

Secondly, aliexpress is also our company's store and the prices are discounted because of the new customer discount, subsidized by the platform.
Then, our webpage describes that our goods are made and produced by our company's factory, from China, nowadays, Made in China means good quality and good price.
Finally, the expandable version will have a special one zipper that will open for extra storage space, if you can't you can ask us.

I purchased a backpack from the official website of the seller for €100. After i placed the order, i saw that the seller had a shop in Aliexpress. When i looked up for the same backpack in the Aliexpress shop, i realised that the price was €39,63 (including free shipping). This is very frustrating and got me irritated.
