Tires worn out after 12K and no customer service
I bought tires in august of 2021 and paid approximately $900. Then in august of 2022. I took my car to Honda for oil change and they said tires tread for all 4 tires is below 3/32 n I should get tires replaced asap. I went to Mavis store for tire rotation and told the guys that this is what Honda said and after replacing tires we only drove 12K, why we need to replace tires again this year He said he can't find my car in the system, I need to bring receipt, next day I found receipt and went again, he looked at the car and receipt and said bring car before snow and we will give you new tires after adjusting for these bad ones. I went to store today December 12, 2022 three months after and now he was able to find my car in the system , surprisingly right but says I don't have time today to look at your car, make an appointment for next week and we will look at it. I requested him 3 times to look at it, give me an estimate and then we can make appointment for next week, he told me I can wait and if he get time in the next few hours he will look at it or else i will have to come some other day. I said thank you and left the store. Two hours later I get a call saying bring your car n we can look at it. Stupid me went again and he said they can install some Mavis pro tires which is $123 per tire and total after discount and including taxes, installation etc will be $499. I don't understand this calculation the tires had 60K mile warranty now I m not getting any discount for bad tires. to me i am just not paying the installation and tax but paying full price of tires. The all 4 visits to this store on Jefferson road, Rochester were very frustrating. If any one wants to save them selves their precious time, they should avoid going to this place at all costs. Receipt number for original purchase was 00237211, date august 5, 2021.
