Mavis Tire - Mount Vernon Avis 8

I brought my car to Mavis for something simple: new tires. Instead, I left with damage to my vehicle and a very frustrating customer service experience.

When I picked up my car, I noticed my side view mirror was broken and literally taped back on. The staff initially told me it was already like that when I brought the car in, which is completely false. They then tried to charge me to fix the damage they caused.

After I spoke with the manager, he claimed he asked his employees and no one knew anything about it. Later, the story changed — he said they taped it because it broke when they lifted the car, but insisted it was “already damaged.” The inconsistency alone says a lot.

On top of that, the staff was rude and dismissive.

I contacted Mavis corporate and was told a regional manager would reach out to me. That call never came.

Damaging a customer’s car is bad enough — but lying about it and then ignoring the complaint is unacceptable. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

No matter what type of car I've had, I always go to Mavis for an oil change. Service is good and the staff are professional and advise if anything is needs to be serviced or not needed. So far, my experiences have been great and the waiting area is appreciated. I've never had to stand, which means services are done in a timely manner and customers are not overbooked.

I had a excellent experience. Every employee here works happy! Excellent customer service! Angelo fixed my control arm, and both outer tie rods with no hesitation! Another Mecanic had told me my vehicle was perfect the day before. After driving it, I realized that something was wrong. Im so glad I came here because they fixed my car completely.
