Mavis Tire - N. Monroe St. Avis 10

Don’t take your car here. As a woman the manager here will rip you off and lie. I took my suv here had brakes put on cost my almost $900. A few weeks later they were making noises again. I called they said it was normal. Six months later it would grind to a stop not normal after paying $900 took it back they charged me $900 again even though I had lifetime warranty on pads for same issue. Two weeks same noise take it back and demand they look at it they tell me the bolt was not tightened and was rubbing on the rotor and the rotor had to be replaced again. Furious at this point it’s still making noise so I take it to another mechanic even though I have paid $1800 in less than 18 months pay $400 have the same thing done and they told me there is no way these were new rotors and pads! You can imagine how I felt when I looked at the pads and rotors Mavis said they just put on. This manager should be fired! I will never use Mavis and I will tell every one I know to avoid this company especially woman!

Colten and Nate is amazing they gets me in and out all the time this is my 8th time visiting them and im always satisfied it’s never a long wait no matter what day of the week I come

After taking a nail while driving I saw my tire pressure dropping fairly quickly and was able to limp into the Mavis on North Monroe in Tallahassee where I’ve taken my SUV previously for a screw in a tire. They got me in pretty quickly for not having an appointment and patched me right up! Great service and professional staff! I highly recommend this shop.

Great communication and no pressure; Colton took the time to explain what I needed and made it happen quickly so I could get back to work. Friendly, honest, and I would highly recommend the N Monroe Mavis location!

This review is for the Mavis location over on N. Monroe St. These guys are a lifesaver honestly. They're open on Sundays early 9 to 5 when pretty much everything and everyone else is closed which makes it extremely convenient for people that are working Monday through Friday or spending time with their family on Saturday. These guys are super professional and do an extremely good job. I will definitely go to them for all of my Tire needs and I highly recommend that Tallahasseans do the same. They have several locations throughout Tallahassee, but this one in particular is my favorite because of the wonderful job that they're doing. Will is the manager over there, and extremely friendly, courteous and kind. 5 stars to you Will and your guys over there for doing such a good job. Thank you thank you.

Took car in on Sunday (Tallahassee, Fl.) to have screw removed as no other shops were open. Paid $33.21 (Highest price around). Took car home afterwards. Monday morning discover they never even removed the screw. Wife took car in Monday afternoon, they remove screw and patched tire. Tuesday We discover there's a missing lug nut and a broken lug bolt. Manager offers to pay for repair or they will repair it (probably because they already have other reviews where they've broken lug bolts off). No thanks, I'll take it elsewhere and you can pay. Thursday take receipt for repair in, manager hands wife some money, she counts it it's short. Tells manager, he gives her some more money, STILL NOT the correct amount. On the third try it gets the correct amount and we are DONE with Mavis Forever. In the manager's defense though regarding counting out the money. He may not have actually been trying to short us, it could be because every phone line they have is occupied with customer's also complaining about the shoddy work this company does.
