The service was ok the first few times
The service was ok the first few times, but the third visit was horrible. The manager Scott was arrogant, cold and condescending. They tried telling me that there were repairs needed that a real reputable garage told me we're false. They refused to inspect illegally and wanted to fix things that weren't broken. I will never go back there again, have found a reputable garage to perform my work at a reasonable price AND will discourage others from going to Norwich NY Mavis due to their predatory business ethics. I tried to develope a positive relationship with the manager Scott, but he came off ass an arrogant, grimey, frauðster and I will never go back there again

I would never recommend Mavis to anyone…
I would never recommend Mavis to anyone they are the biggest rip offs around they put one brake pad on my rear driver side tire and one caliber unaware that brake pads come in sets they only did one and charge me $462 come to find out that I was well overcharged and that both rear tires should have been done

Sent my gf in to get her inspection…
Sent my gf in to get her inspection done, they ended up pulling ALL FOUR tires staying its “policy” when in fact it’s not. Policy is to pull one tire per NYS to inspect. They told her she needed front tires, pads and rotors all the way around. She was told she needed 1300$ dollars worth of work in order to pass inspection. I knew it was BS being I do the work myself on the car and had just replaced the rotors and pads not too long ago. We had just got tires on that car all the way around not too long ago. I called there bluff took the car to an honest mechanic and passed the inspection there. He said tires were completely fine which I knew.. when I called the manager back and showed him pictures of the brake pads they said needed to be replaced he ordered a refund.. but he insisted on arguing about why the tire failed by saying there’s a line on the edge of the inside of front tire that’s exposed calling it “secondary” rubber. But he’s got to cover the for the BS. On the receipt they put down the “customer stated check all four tires and brakes” which in fact we just asked for a nys inspection. These guys were reaching hard to fail the inspection in hopes to take advantage her. Had her waiting for over and hour and a half for something that should of been 15-20 minutes. These guys write up recommendations for parts you don’t need which is dishonest work. No wonder they have a bad name, and they continue to prove that. When I sent the regional manager the receipt for passing the inspection at an HONEST MECHANIC but thanked him for the refund anyway of course he didn’t reply lol
REPLY to Mavis reply: check pictures I posted under google review and please tell me those pads and rotors need to be replaced and try standing by that 😂.. and no, you did a good job losing my business the first time

Dear customer, we truly apologize that you did not agree with our mechanics diagnosis of the vehicle. Our main priority is always our customers safety and we make it a point to always provide our recommendations so that the customer is aware of what is needed for the car to run safely and efficiently. The Regional manager refunded the inspection fee as a customer courtesy, however, we do standby our original diagnosis of the brakes and tires and are happy to look over the vehicle in the future should your girlfriend need any tire or brake replacements.

These guys always do excellent work
These guys always do excellent work. Even though they are short-handed with staffing, the managers always step in to get my vehicle ready on time. The facilities are clean and the prices are fair. I trust that they only do what is necessary to keep my vehicle running properly.
