Every time it’s a 10/10 experience I am greeted by everyone by name and so truly appreciative of it!! Scott, Hulk, Jack, Mrs.D and the D who assisted on the car are all truly amazing and polite!!! Wouldn’t choose any other place to service my car! Thank you guys!!!

I had a very disappointing experience at Mavis Discount Tire that I feel compelled to share.
When I arrived with my daughter, not a single employee came out to talk to us. Instead, all three employees stayed inside the shop, seemingly more interested in staying in the air conditioning than addressing customers. We were left walking around aimlessly, unsure of what was going on — not exactly the service you'd expect from any business.
My fiancé brought his Mercedes in for an alignment and to have a tire balanced. From the moment we arrived, it was clear they were hesitant (or maybe just unwilling) to work on the car. The employee who told him where to park didn’t even mention that the alignment machine was supposedly down. We had to go into the shop ourselves just to get a straight answer — only to be told they couldn't service the car at all, not even balance a single tire, because the alignment machine was down.
Funny enough, we drove two businesses down to Discount Tire, and they had no issue balancing the tire. So the excuse about not being able to help us just didn’t add up.
I completely understand if a shop can't work on a modified car due to equipment limitations — that's fair. But the way we were treated felt dismissive and unprofessional. Worse yet, the attitude from all three employees made us feel mocked and even discriminated against.
Absolutely unacceptable service. I would never return to this location, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If you care about being treated with basic respect, you're better off going elsewhere.

Calvin and his team took great care of my needs. Great customer service. Service was Faster than expected. I would recommend that you go see them for all your car needs.

I needed my oil changed and windshield wipers replaced. I went in the day before and Alex was very polite and scheduled me this next morning. I came in then, ready for a large wait, but I barely had time to settle before they were finished! Alex, again, was polite and professional, but also very pleasant. I also enjoyed the way they decorated for the holidays!

Had appointment at 9am arrived on time it only took 30 minutes to replace one tire and check out. Friendly great customer service

The manager Calvin and all the techs are courteous and knowledgeable. They had my car fixed in a timely manner. Unlike other shops they don't try to sell you what you can't afford. They are experienced techs who care about what they do and customer service and quality of work is a 5 🌟. Go see Calvin and his team of techs. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Every time I need my vehicles serviced I bring it here. I am genuinely impressed with the service I receive every time I come. Thanks for always taking such awesome care of me and my vehicles

My wife and son (who is in a wheelchair) had a pancake flat tire. We got the tire aired up enough to go around the corner to Mavis Tires (Southside on University Boulevard). The manager and tech (Chris) were life savers and helped put on the spare tire and did not charge us anything. I'm glad to know that charity and help are available when needed, and I would recommend this Mavis Tires and Brakes location to everyone. Great people make for a great experience, especially in an emergency. Thanks guys.

Sonny and his guys are AWESOME! Went in hoping a tire could be repaired vs replaced and 20 minutes later was leaving with a fixed tire and now a new Mavis returning costumer!
