I highly recommend Mayflower Mortgage and Finance, especially if you have a more complex property situation.

Before finding them, I was in a very stressful position. My previous mortgage advisor told me my property was unmortgageable after an initial refusal and even suggested I take out an extremely expensive bridging loan due to ongoing refurbishment and extension works.

Eithne at Mayflower took the time to properly understand my situation. She reviewed images of the property, reassured me that a mortgage should still be achievable, and gave clear, practical guidance on how to prepare a strong application. She then sourced a more flexible lender at a very reasonable rate.

Mayflower completely turned around what had been a nightmare scenario and delivered a genuinely outstanding service. I’m very grateful to Eithne and the team and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

After being let down by a "high street" lender at the 11th hour, a bridging loan broker, and not able to source any financing via various brokers.. Recommended by my accountant but a total waste of time. First call was with a over enthusiastic salesman promising everything saying I was perfect for them. Then asked for a pile of books and paperwork only to then knock it back. Total waste of time

Just want to say what an amazing self build mortgage broker. Mayflower have been fantastic from start to finish. Self build mortgages can be hard to find and get acceptance for however mayflower managed to overcome all the hurdles to get us a mortgage.
