As someone who recently navigated the both exciting & demanding prep process for a MBB interview, I can attest that the program played a pivotal role in my preparation + success.
I started with a comprehensive google + YT search for case solving and quickly realised that I’m falling into a rabbit hole of going through numerous examples without understanding 100% how to solve the next one. And that’s where a different approach was needed.
I needed to reverse engineer the case solving process, so that no matter what the case was, I’d know the approach.

In a nutshell, it doesn’t give you the fish, it teaches you how to fish. You still need to work your way through the program and do all the prep needed, of course. It isn't a single session where the coaching begins and ends. It's a whole journey that includes a full curriculum, which proved very efficient. Moreover, an entire team looks after you, not just one person. I only have one regret: not finding out about MBB Offer Machine sooner than I did because I had to unlearn some bad habits from previous coaching using other sources.

I was researching several MBB recruitment training programs. I asked all the training programs, "what portion of people who pay for your service receive an offer from MBB." I saw that the MBB offer machine not only had the strongest placement--by far--out of all the other training programs I researched. On top of that, they were very transparent about the success rate of people who paid for their services, so I trusted them as well.

After being in the program for a few months, I knew I made the right choice. I applied in a tough market (consulting firms were laying off not hiring), and I still managed to earn a consulting offer. In fact, I was the only person in my entire school to get a T2, full-time consulting offer during my recruitment cycle. (I think one other person got an offer from another T2 firm, but I believe that was for an internship and not a full-time offer. If it was a full-time, then I guess I was 1 of 2 people from my school of 40k students to get a full-time T2 consulting offer, which is still phenomenal).

The program clearly does a great job of teaching you. It's taught by people who worked at MBB for many years. So, they know how to solve cases. After all, that's what they spent years at MBB doing. The individuals who teach the course also have a lot of experience with interviewing candidates while at MBB, so they are helpful for behaviorals as well.

My experience with the MBB Offer Machine was truly positive. It is a very well structured program with a different, much more realistic and efficient approach to casing that taught me not only how to think and approach problems but also to communicate my thinking in an effective and rigorous manner.

I can't stress enough the value of the coaches. All of the mentors were experienced ex-consultants that have interviewed many candidates in the past. Their feedback and advice were instrumental in the improvement of my performance and eventual success.

I would highly recommend this program to anyone that is aiming to join a MBB firm.

I joined the MBB offer machine program after a few months of case practicing and realizing no matter how many cases I did, I was missing some foundational skills. I wanted a structured and repeatable approach that would work for any type of case instead of the 10’s of frameworks available online.

After a few weeks in the program and grasping the rigorous approach taught, I could already see the difference in how I was approaching cases. The precise and detailed feedback from the coaches was unmatched and I had actionable steps to improve. This was then well complemented with the quality of practice and discussion I had with other mentees. With the skills learnt, I was able to better plan my interviews to ensure I had mastered all the skills and had a repeatable approach for success.

An additional success factor was the focus on the FIT part of the interview to ensure that mentees were all-rounded. Equipped with the necessary tools, I had the confidence to walk into the interviews knowing that no matter what case was presented to me I had the skills to structure and walk through the case to come to an answer. I was successful in securing 2 offers and will be joining an MBB.

My advice to future applicants:

1. Practice early! You should be prepared before you schedule your interview so that you aren't crammed for time

2. Focus on conveying your framework well. The framework will set the tone for you interview and starting off on the right foot is incredibly beneficial.

3. Giving cases is just as important as practicing them. Seeing a case from the interviewer's perspective allows you to see what works and what doesn't.

Overall, I couldn't recommend this experience more!

This program provides mentees with the recipe for successfully and efficiently preparing for interviews at top strategy consulting firms (both for fit and case preparation). It cuts through the noise of online preparation resources that are often incomplete, of suboptimal quality, and filled with many misconceptions (especially regarding interviewer’s expectations).

Here are the key learnings I acquired from the coaching program:

Instead of having you learn general frameworks & industry overviews by heart, the MBB Offer Machine provides you with a clear methodology on how to solve ANY strategic problem.

Case structuring used to be my weakest point when I started casing. I felt that I lacked industry knowledge to be able to write comprehensive structures. But I got it all wrong. The program will show you that no industry knowledge is necessary to propose a convincing structure. In fact, the key to cracking a case is to start from the case question.
