McGimpsey Brothers Removals Limited Avis

Our removal operation from the UK to the Republic of Ireland by McGimpsey Brothers was exceptional and carried out on the days by two friendly and obliging lads. It was both carefully and professionally organised and took away the stress we would otherwise have been experiencing. The attention to detail, the communications and updates on progress throughout from our Moving Consultant Andrew Smyth was commendable. We will definitely recommend this company in the future.

Amazing service from my initial enquiry and all my questions due to never relocating with a house full of belongings to the incredible delivery men that brought in my belongings and put them in the rooms I needed even when I thought it wasn't going to be possible. Highly recommend this company to anyone that needs to move anything from big to small. Ours was a house contents relocation and so smooth and well organised.

Mc Gimpsey brothers have handled all my moves for many years. They are super helpful in particular Jason. I made so many changes to dates and other details but it was never an issue.

The guys on the trucks were also excellent handling everything with care.

Very professional and sensibly priced.

This was my third time using McGimpsey - service was exceptional as always

McGimpsey team provided a great service delivering some treasured possessions from Bangor NI to Surrey.
Friendly team, arrived 2 days early everything undamaged. Great job!

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable team

Thoams and Gary just collected the orders from our warehouse and they done a fabulous job. 100% recommenable.

We had a great experience with the delivery team who brought our large sofa from Omhu. Carter and Josh were incredibly friendly, professional, and hardworking throughout. They arrived exactly at the time they said they would, delivered everything smoothly, and did not make an issue at all even when the sofa did not fit in the lift. Their attitude and effort were truly appreciated. I only wish everyone did their job as well as Carter and Josh. A big thank you to both of them! we hope more companies get the chance to work with people like them.

Gizem & Michael

We deeply appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff, and especially Catriona. The company was very professional in the shipping of our items from overseas to Northern Ireland. Everyone who assisted, upon the arrival of our goods, contributed to our having a very positive experience.

On time.
Complex job completed in a most professional manner.
Would happily use again.

Excellent service from start to finish. Move from Bristol to Dublin was handled with professionalism, efficiency, and great care throughout. The team was easy to deal with, highly reliable, and communication was excellent at every stage. Extremely satisfied with the service and would highly recommend them to anyone.

The team at McGimpseys assisted us with our move in November of 2025, doing so at incredibly short notice as we realised that it wouldn't be possible for us to move all of our belongings safely ourselves as we approached our completion date. Sarah was our main contact during the organisational stages, and was outstandingly helpful throughout, responding very quickly to emails and phone calls, and doing everything possible to ensure that a team were able to assist us on moving day, including maintaining contact on the day itself to ensure that all was going smoothly, and that we had all of the support that we needed.

I was so worried about how it would work but he guys made it all so easy and took all the hassle out of packing. Can totally recommend McGimpseys for international moving. They were great

The crew worked to very high standards, always curtious and couldn't be more helpful. Ruth was a pleasure to deal with and made last minute changes for us with no problem. High praise to all the staff, they are a top notch company and I will definitely use again and can't recommend enough.

From the initial home survey until the last box was delivered, the service we received was excellent. Having the one point of contact to go to with all our questions was great. All the removals guys were super friendly and professional. Most of all I felt confident in trusting them with our possessions and that confidence wad not misplaced.

Josh and Carter were brilliant. Happy to try to move furniture that was difficult given the space. Nothing was too much trouble. I am very pleased with the service I received. Would definitely recommend! Mary

Everything happened as it should and all went smoothly. on both occasions, the crew were friendly, efficient and honest. They took all the stress out of the move. Thank you to all.

Professionalism exuded throughout the entire process; from initial enquiry, to collection and delivery. Constant communications and updates which were very reassuring. Made the whole process stress-free. Highly recommended.

The lads loading us up in Leeds and unloading us in Ards were brilliant. Communication with the office and the lads on the ground was brilliant and everything went as planned. Can't ask for any more.

Cannot recommend this company highly enough. They moved us with great efficiency and made the whole experience totally stress free.
