MCL Restaurant & Bakery Avis 46

We were ordering food to eat there, we were informed we can't eat inside. So, we were ordering our food. I got ask 3 times what side do I want. I say corn & mashed potatoes three time. Never asked for gravy. But put gravy on my mashed potatoes. I said I never asked for gravy. The YOUNG LADY got mad at me. Why... idk My friend says she is rude. The white male manager says" she a child"... So What. She CAN'T LISTEN.... SHE IS THE PROBLEM & THE MANAGER IS ALSO.

Great homemade dishes with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Some items could be improved, but overall a very enjoyable experience. Worth a visit!

Not a bad place to spend an evening with your wife with delicious food. Thanks to the staff for the good service and for helping us decide on the choice of dishes. I give it a rating of 4 because there wasn`t enough choice on the bar menu.

A friend and I stopped by after years have past since last time. The person putting the salad in the extremely SMALL bowls, mimics what I said asking for blue cheese dressing. When I called him on it he said, “ do you want more?” I told him no. My fried chicken was not even warm. The cheese cake did not taste like cheese cake. I could have taken sugar and cream cheese and done better. The worse thing was the PRICE! $40+ for 2 people. MCL was never this way. The food was good and the servings and prices were VERY reasonable. I will not ever come back again.

They had a clean and welcoming atmosphere and the staff were friendly and attentive. Their menu offered a good variety of options at reasonable prices.

I love taking my kids to this place whenever we are near Indy. The food and atmosphere are lovely, and I think that the pricing is very fair. Love the staff and menu options. Definitely check it out if you are near, MCL is wonderful.

Every time if i visit Indianapolis for my business meeting I must always visit here. They have numerous delicous food and deserts. I'm looking forward visit again if i am in Indianapolis.

The Castleton location is our favorite. The menu is varied and always tastes good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Ron covers the dining rooms and is always on the move and always very cheerful! We live about 40 minutes away but whenever we are near Castleton we make this MCL our go-to restaurant.

Could not decide where to eat today? To my GF, HEY? HOW ABOUT
MCL? I told the servers behind the counter? EVERYTHING was great. Food looked good. And tasted wonderful. Thats why we are back. Servers ASK YOU!! you dont have to yell at them. What would you like sir? 1,2,3,4 pcs chicken? And lots of sides. Wow!!! And they come around to ask you? Need anything? Come eat here
1 time, YOU WILL COME BACK!! Oh the strawberry cheese cake .
Heaven, this place deserves a 10 star.

There are no complaints from me about the food quality of “MCL Restaurant & Bakery”, I have never had anything but great experiences.

Love the salad bar and food, took forever to get served, didn't get silverware til we asked for it . Drinks took forever and we were not advised of specials.
